  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Same here. The story seems really interesting but the controls are horrible. Although $7+ for a game that cost $30 isn't exactly the worst deal, I may hold off until next week to decide.

P.S. If anyone has an extra Destiny code for the 360 that they would like to share, I would be happy to receive one. O:)

But 8 dollars man....8 dollars for Injustice is a freaking steal

 
desitny came with 5 codes so there are tons of giveaways I got 3 initially then a sony email with two more all because I preordered to get bonus credit a pre order long since cancelled

 
Is there more to Injustice than just a fighting game?  I've seen people mention the single player story mode, is that more than just 1v1 fights and cutscenes?  Trying to decide if I want to grab it, but not really interested if its just a straight fighter.

Did you play MK9? Its basically story mode and star lab missions (aka fighting with certain conditions and some minigames throw in). For whatever system you buying it on, its well worth $13 or $8. I suck at real fighters (Im above average to cartoon/anime one's) but I love everything ed boon and his team creates. I cant fucking wait for the new Mortal Kombat.

 
Everytime I tried to sign in to the Destiny beta on my PS3, it says it's offline for maintenance. I'm curious to see if you guys have similar problems on Xbox 360/Xbox One.

I think the servers are just getting hammered. It probably doesn't help that I have mlb.tv snapped with the Indians radio stream going and I'm playing css on PC though...
 
I can't believe Red Faction: Guerrilla is $10.  They really need to drop it down to around the $5 mark so people will actually buy it and (hopefully) revive one of the most fun multiplayer experiences that has ever existed on consoles.  Seriously.   

This game's multiplayer somehow slipped through the cracks and was hardly ever mentioned... Blows my mind to this day.

After about 30 minutes, I'm at 7% (according to My Games & Apps) and 4% (according to in-game). I've got 30mb down and 8mb up. The download is less than 13gb. I'll let you know if it is working on X1 in about 10 hours :/

Anyone have it already? I want to get it, but it has a low rating on Xbox Marketplace. I played the demo and liked it (except for the multiple choice final question..dumb). Are there other things wrong with it to warrant the low score? Maybe too small of a question bank?

And on the side.. Injustice is worth it, right? Not planning on buying any dlc or season pass stuff.

A friend of mine has it on PS4 and reports no problems. I wonder if they opened it for PS4 users now and PS3 users later. They have me at a ridiculous queue number, 82,000 or so.

It's almost sleep time so it would be ready by the time you wake up. My internet speed is worse; took me 3 days to download on PS3.

Just bought it while I wait for Destiny to download on my XB1. Its fine so far, if you liked the demo seems like you'll like the game, its basically that till the end of time. Has online which im sure is empty, but not too much more than that.

funny you mention this. I just got done playing my first full game on Hard difficulty.

I'm not gonna lie...I cheated using Google and scored 22 achievements within an hour. 410 points right off the bat. fuck all of you, don't judge me. I knew a few of them without using the internet lol

Maybe Xbox peoples will be able to play tonight. I feel bad for Bungie pr dudes right now. Probably getting a ton of undeserved slow download anger

Yeah it is the bungie & download servers. Same thing happened with PSN last week. Just be thankful that Xbox Live didn't crash like PSN did.

I got to 69% in an hour.

Microsoft is constantly partnering with resellers to have deals and promotions for their currency, Sony almost never does (best you can hope for is spend ~$50 in the PlayStation store, get $10 back). Microsoft gives away free or cheap months of XBL Gold all the time (at least they did, not sure if they still do), I probably got close to a year and a half for under $20, and I know some people did a lot better than that. I'm still fighting Sony for invalidating my code for a year of PS+ the day before it was supposed to expire (was supposed to be "good through 3/31/2014", but they expired it on 3/30).

The most relevant point is the first one, though. If you compare the list prices, Sony looks cheaper, but if you compare the actual cost based on buying Xbox currency for cheap (or getting $5 codes for free), then they can be pretty close. I can honestly state that Microsoft loves you(r money) every bit as much as Sony does.

That's actually a damn good point. I got most of my MS money 50%-75% off, this makes me feel a little better about the price disparity.

It's a really well done and interesting single-player with a solid comic book story but it's still a fighting game.

I heard Dark Souls 2 dlc is really good. Any opinions here?

Still at 35% on Destiny. Had a nice speed up then it slowed down. Closed the game, which according to Bungie is supposed to help, but I don't notice any difference.
