  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Luckily as one of the scavengers who bought Ghost for 6 bucks a few weeks ago, I don't find it that bad to be honest. Definitely not BO 1 or 2 good, but definitely better than MW3 easily for me.

It's actually spectacular and unique, but it's waaay too linear. There is just no freedom whatsoever, too bad because the ideas are great, graphics are pretty damn good, and the basic gameplay is more than solid as well. Would have been so insane if it had an Assassin's Creed-like structure.

 
Need for Speed Rivals for $53.99 on Xbox One. Wow, talk about a dickslap of a sale. I want the game but I'm pretty sure I'd wait for the next gamefly sale or get it on amazon for about $30.

Do you not have Rock Band 3? If not it's pretty much worth buying because it's kind of an 83 song pack for $10. A lot of them might be songs you have no interest in, but Rock Band 3 dlc go for $2.00 a pop. If there are six songs you like then you're already starting to get a deal.

Also, if anyone is thinking of trading in their disc copy after buying the game digitally check if your disc has an EA label on it. If it does then the disc doesn't have title update on it that prevents you from using custom songs. You might want to keep that copy.

unique, yes. I really liked the visuals, story, and basic concept of the game. The gameplay did get in the way and the clown car of cheap hit enemies got old very very quickly. I found myself absolutely hating the game as I got nearer to the end. I had intended to platinum it, but ended up knocking it down to easy just so I could finish it quicker, then promptly deleted it.

 
I held off on Terraria the last time it was on sale figuring it was primed for GwG; seeing it on sale again so soon after isn't exactly changing my thoughts. Remember Me shall be purchased, however. I'm looking for a linear experience with an interesting germ of an idea, well-executed or not.

I have Band Hero, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Guitar Hero: Metallica, DJ Hero, DJ Hero 2. I barely touched any of them, DJ Hero 2 is actually wrapped even. GH3 kinda burnt me out on the whole genre, it was fun for a while but I just saw no long-term appeal.

Also I'm lazy, which is why I like Kinect but I actually don't use it much. Why jump around when you can sit and just move your fingers on the controller? Priorities, man.

Does anyone know if RB3 supports the song import from previous games like RB2 did?  Already have the license for the first game transfer but would have to "rent" the games again.

Good choice if you are okay with linear. The art style is stellar, the music and general audio was so good - not many noticed it I think, but for some reason it clicked so well for me, I really loved the whole sound part. The fighting system is solid and easy enough if you find out how to - plus you can customize it to an extent. Some boss fights are a tiny bit frustrating but nothing to break controllers for. The memory-remixing sequences and the general story can leave you with deep thoughts and feelings. Given its linearity it isn't the most replayable game in the world (there are collectibles to go back too, though), but for 10 bucks I would recommend it to everyone who isn't turned off by a linear experience.

 
I will point out that while Terraria is a lot of fun with friends, the game has a major bug that wipes out half your map.  It's happened twice to me and the kids.  I don't know if something about my upgraded character is triggering it or what but it's really depressing to lose you whole house and loot and half the maps treasures and caves.....

I only played the first one. I really didn't like it. It just felt very clunky for a third person game. The tedium eventually drove me to quite before finishing, which is fairly rare for me to do.
