  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Thoughts on Persona 4 Arena and Lococycle? I liked the demo for Fall of Cybertron so War on Cybertron was a past instant purchase.

So far nothing for me. Too bad Dance Central Spotlight wasn't on 360 or I'd buy it.

 
Multiverse. War and Fall are must buys. We need more people on the War multiplayer. Persona is good if you like fighting games like Guilty Gear or you liked the story of 4. Its a continuation of the story. I might get prototype but I hate superhero games... I even bated crackdown :(

Well then looks like I'm getting Multiverse.

I've never played a Persona game (or Guilty Gear) but I know the series has been around for a while.

If some pre Modern Warfare COD's are on sale, I might go for them.

It's true, but only bought like 2 songs from Dance Central 2.

It would be a long shot of course, but it would have been kind of cool if they allow you to download all DC 1/2 songs to XB1 similar to how Rock Band handled it.

 
From what I understand RE4 has only one control config which has the left stick for look and the right for movement. Is this correct? Is it as painful as it sounds?

Yes, it's incredibly painful. The right isn't for movement though, the left stick moves and turns and aims - it's the aiming and turning being there that sucks so bad. There are two control configs but neither fixes this basic problem.

ha - What? That is more insane than I thought. What does the right stick do?

 
Personally I've found War to be kind of dull.  I want to work through it though cause the story and characters are fun.  The combat isn't as fun as it should be...I think so far I feel trapped in these small environments.  I can fly but there's nowhere to go.

At the time when the game came out....they were a revelation. In 2014..... Not so much. I haven't pulled the trigger on that purchase because I'm afraid nostalgia won't be able to save the fact that the controls suck in this day and age.

I really enjoyed it. Plays fairly different to the other Forza games, but in a good way I think. Definitely has more of an arcade racer feel to it than the other Forzas as well, in that the car behaves a bit more arcadey, but still definitely worth a pick up if you enjoy racing.

It is really rough at first, but you kind of get used to it. I still haven't finished the last achievement for finishing the game on professional because of the controls.

Are Code Veronica controls same as RE 1-3? I hated the controls in those games. You play as a special agent that can't shoot well because of weird controls and camera angles. I heard the new version will fix a little bit of the controls by making it so you don't move like a tank.

 
After seeing this week's deals I think I'll pass on them all. Ending up converting a few games to digital last week using the GS 50% bonus coupon before it expired yesterday so it wasn't a waste.

For this week I recommend Carcassonne for the card/board game enthusiasts. It's a fun game and easy 200 GS. I'm picking up DC Spotlight. I grabbed Child of Light at launch and recommend it. It's a simple RPG but I enjoyed it and it's gorgeous.

Are Code Veronica controls same as RE 1-3? I hated the controls in those games. You play as a special agent that can't shoot well because of weird controls and camera angles. I heard the new version will fix a little bit of the controls by making it so you don't move like a tank.

Yeah CVX is the same as 1-3 which I think are ok. The setup in 4 goes against many years of tps muscle memory for me though.

 
anyone thinking of picking up Mafia 2...  i say to do it.. it is awesome... well worth the sale price... i say it's a must play kind of game... if you liked sleeping dogs you will love mafia 2.

Carcassone is just a great game period.  Though I find it works better on tablet.

Tony Hawk HD has its detractors but as someone who absolutely played the crap out of 2 and 3... I still found HD enjoyable and worth my money.  If you get it though, snag the Revert Pack that adds the levels from THPS 3.  Airport is one of the single greatest THPS levels of all-time because of the baggage claim area and alone justifies the Revert Pack.  I wish another level had been included instead of Canada though, ugh.  Suburbs would have been a great choice.

I really want Geometry Wars but ti's going to have to dip below $5, into the $2-3 range probably to get me to bite.

Monaco for GWG?  Yes please.  Been wanting that, that's a good GWG game.
