  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

It's worth it if you're interested. I bought it for 20 a while back and I really enjoyed it. It gets a little puzzle heavy at some points, but it was a great story with great characters and some really fun combat.

Two different companies released and published it. Double Dragon II was in development way before Neon even was in terms of releasing promotional videos and shots, but was delayed constantly. While Neon was made my Wayforward and released by Majesco and was awesome. So it's not a sequel, but instead two different companies somehow have the licensing rights to Double Dragon.

I remember wondering where the heck DD2 was when Neon was announced and released in what seemed like a 3 or 4 month span. I think DD2 was probably shelved until Neon became a success (can't confirm if it was in fact a success, but I loved it), so they released it hoping to cash in on Neon.

I have only played the demo of DD2, and may pick it up if it ever drops in price for shits and giggles. Neon on the other hand was so much fun, Mitch Dryer or whatever his name is from IGN can eat my boxers after a long day of mountain biking and a colonoscopy. The main thing missing from Neon was the grappling system, I really missed kneeing people in the face (even the women).

Whoops, my bad. I've been too busy about thinking about the new hotness coming...

D&D from times playing it in the arcade is totally worth it if you like beat em ups with some lite-RPG elements. Actually if you just in general enjoy beat em ups really no reason not to get it.

All good. And you're referring to the Dark Souls 2 hotness? I reserved that bitched CE on Amazon months ago. The achievement list is out now too. 90% of it is Secret, lol.

I may get D&D to quench that old school thirst. But with DR3's DLC dropping this week, I'll need to get the Season Pass and since the new Strider's achievement list hit too, I gotta pick that up on X1. I need more monies! lol

Yup, dat hotness. I'm curious about the story emphasis of Dark Souls II. Though my body knows it's not ready for the trial and error of that game all over again. Plus achievement wise I'm sure it's still going to be replay it over and over again kinda stuff.

 
After chastising my son for going out and loading up on 2 (non-discounted) $25 Live cards, I get to teach him the merits of savings.  You see, I told him there wouldn't be squat to buy for the next couple months.  Now I get to apologize and hand him a usb drive with a letter of commendation on successfully filling up his Halo 4 CE 360's HDD in just over 1 year.  Thanks CAG!  You make a dad proud! :bow:

 
Def. grabbing Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara since it reminds me of Golden Axe (An all time favorite). Gonna check out a couple of reviews for Tales. Ive seen praise for the game on this website, but still know nothing about it. Might skip though since I really didn't get Tales of Xilla on PSN. We'll see

 
Yay for Tales of Vesperia, that D&D game also looks fun too, guess thats $10 from the wallet this week...  Why isn't the first FFXIII on sale, or is it just not up yet?

It's easily the best Tales game imo and it also has the rare JRPG protagonist who isn't 1. a teenager (though he is a pretty boy) and 2. isn't afraid to kill and do what needs to be done.

 
Looks like I'll be getting Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara and Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Debating on whether or not to get Tales of Vesperia or Witcher 2.

Darksiders is also something I've been looking at but I think I'll just wait for a cheap on-disc copy.

I have The Witcher 2 on disc. I didn't see how much it is right now, but if you're into RPGs and the trailers for The Witcher 3 have intrigued you, I'd say definitely play 2. I thought it was a great game.
 
I remember playing that D&D game at the arcade. I didn't knew what it was called until now. I'll check out the demo. Also, Tales is totally worth it for $5. I paid $25 when I got it.
 
Darksiders 1 was kinda meh for me. DS2 was great though. There were so many moments that I stopped to look around at the scenery. It also has a really good story. I'm sure 1 does as well, but it really didn't impress me.
 
Wow. Another great Gold sale! Def in for Tales. Debating on Dark Souls. I'm morbidly curious what the hype is for that game.

I'm really torn on FFXIII-2. XIII really burned me on my favorite franchise and plus this has those crappy odd numbered cheevos. But that's a good price. And once again.....morbidly curious.

If you didn't like XIII then XIII-2 probably wouldn't change your mind. There are some differences though, chiefly that it's less linear and has a little more exploration and side content.

Don't even worry about the odd point value cheevs, it's a fast and easy 1000.
