About 50 hours of gameplay to get 1000 is hardly what I'd call fast.

Plus unless the writing takes a total turn from FF13 I'm going to guess it's a chore to play. Goddamn did I hate all the characters in 13.

Ugh! Mystara doesn't bring back "good" nostalgia. but it's cheap so I gotta grab it. Plus it's one of the few semi decent arcade titles I don't already own. Is there any reason why Final Fantasy 13-2 is always on sale while Final Fantasy 13 never is?

Mostly repeats - seriously, everyone has DS at this point, except the ignorants, who auto-skip, because of the difficulty tales, which are mostly bs. The game gets easier as you progress and there are ways to boost up your SL. :D

At this price will get D&D.

Or, you know, people may not ACTUALLY like the game. Shocking, I know, that people's opinion and/or preferences are not the same as yours.

 
Everyone thinking about The Witcher 2, if you do pick it up (it's an amazing game for the hour or two I've played). IF you do decide to get it, hook a brother up with some tips on surviving this game. 

The game looks amazing. It has great dialogue and story (as far as I've played), but holy shit the game is hard as fuck. I swear, I've died more times in one hour than I do completing some games!!

Every time I read someone say this, I feel like a god, seeing as how I beat it on Dark difficulty. Maybe Im a better gamer than I give myself credit for lol
 
Just here to give my enthusiastic push for those wondering if Final Fantasy XIII-2 is worth it, YES. For those who didn't like 13, it doesn't fix every problem, the levels themselves are still largely linear with a handful of exceptions, but the story, environments, monster variety, and battle system have all been made much better, as well as the addition of semi randomized battles, with an encounter system that encourages quick reactions and MUCH more satisfying character development over the first. WELL WORTH IT. Seriously, grab it, and get up to date before Lightning Returns drops.

Also, Dark Souls, while absolutely a repeat, is a solid option to repeat at the $5 mark, and again, is NOT FOR EVERYONE, but for those who can overcome intense adversity often peppered with cheap hit detection, it's unlike anything else on the market.

13-2 was on sale a few times ago in disc format brand new last year for $10. I Remember both Newegg and Best Buy having it at that price.

I played it on normal and it wasn't too bad. Honestly, grinding is kind of necessary. Do the sidequests. Practice rolling around to dodge. It gets worse later on.

It was already on sell sometime last year thats when I bought it. I forgot the price of it but, I got it and never even got back into the game. Ive been meaning to but, Im so pissed there was problem with my save file so now I have to start all over again.... I was just about to finish the game too.

 
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles and Dark Souls are a go at that price. But i just don't know about The Witcher 2 the hour of it that i played i couldn't get in to the combat. does it get better?
 
ok, broke down and bought TR Anniversary and Underworld and will buy Tales of V. I hope they cool it a bit since I've spent about $200 since Black Friday and need a break.

I myself almost gave up on Witcher 2 very, very early into it. I didnt give a shit about any of the characters and the combat seemed really complex.

but I pushed through it and I'm glad I did. As the story goes on, you learn that Geralt is a certified bad ass and he really just doesn't give a shit about the ongoing conflicts in his world. I always got the feeling if he had a choice he would have offed both sides lol. And yes, the combat takes a little while to get used to, but once you master the dodge-roll and learn to incorporate spells into your fights, its all gravy from there. I'm fuckin amped for Witcher 3 personally, cant wait to see how the story plays out.

I hope they do soon, I still need mw3 collection 3, WaW pack 2 and all BO2 DLCs (and maybe a cheap COD2 copy). I picked up the ghosts season pass for 35€ though, so I don't feel like I need any of these now.

I want to spend something this week. Already have dark souls, ghost recon and the witcher 2, don't like JRPGS: double agent or conviction?

but I pushed through it and I'm glad I did. As the story goes on, you learn that Geralt is a certified bad ass and he really just doesn't give a shit about the ongoing conflicts in his world. I always got the feeling if he had a choice he would have offed both sides lol. And yes, the combat takes a little while to get used to, but once you master the dodge-roll and learn to incorporate spells into your fights, its all gravy from there. I'm fuckin amped for Witcher 3 personally, cant wait to see how the story plays out.

Haha, this reminfs me, when i bought a code for Robotron 2084 back in 2010. A game from 1982 and man, it's still a blast, even though kicks your arse most of the time. :D

On pc and its a pain why i never do it. Transfer cable and software. I do not trust usb sticks they go bad months or years later. I suggest ext hd or dvdrs or something.

Tales is 10€ over here but still I can only recommend to get this Game, it's possibly the best JRPG on the 360€ and its damn hard to get a copy anywhere near this price if you're in the US and you have the option to get it under 5 bucks, there is no effing reason not to get this!!! Hell I even own a physical copy and thinking of buying it again for 10€ just for the convenience (this and I lend my copy to someone who has moved to another city still hope to get it back lol)

This is why Microsoft should be allowing us to use high capacity usb hard drives to back everything up. 32GB is simply not enough space to back up an entire library. I hope somehow they implement this change soon, before the 360 xbl service goes dark.

Well I was reading around, not sure if its completely solid info but they said it will be around at minimum till 2016

I'm sure they will have an efficient solution by then hopefully.
