  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

And for those getting Alice for the added bonus of the original American McGee's Alice helping push them toward the purchase. Don't. The original Alice has not aged well at all, from the camera to the combat, it just feels dated.

A question to the limitation of usb flash drives...

My 320 GB HDD is full (unplayed/unfinished Games + DLC), same for my 120 GB HDD (Finished games and DLC) and 2 32GB Sticks... (more unplayed Games)can I just add more 32 GB sticks? I read you can only have 2 usb sticks but I'm not sure if they meant 2 at the same time...? My quesstion is can I add like 5 USB sticks with 32 GB just by switching them all the time?

Is the ME3 Citadel DLC any good in terms of the actual gameplay found in its "campaign"? Is it on the level of Overlord and Lair in that regard? And how long is it?
 
I'm not interested in the big "party", or squad get-together, or whatever it is. I don't care about that aspect of the DLC, and I plan to skip through it all.
 
I would just like to know if Citadel is worth buying if all that interests me is the quality of its "campaign".

Agreed. I had never played the original Alice before, but yeah, it kind of sucks now. Combat is archaic.

I think it might be time to pick up Kingdoms of Amalur. I haven't seen it for less than 20 bucks, new, in disc form so digital download for 10 works just fine.

I loved Madness Returns. I didn't really care for the gameplay, but I loved the graphics and the story. The story is worth everyone's time...everyone. Just play it.

I have no comments on the hair technology. That's one of those things I just don't care about, as much as I care about being told a good story.

BTW...I'm having a really hard time getting into, Tales of Vesperia. Someone, please give me good reasons to finish this game. I'm barely an hour into it and falling asleep. Its every JRPG I've ever played, but with different fighting mechanics.

Looks like Alice seems to be a good choice to buy judging from the comments.

Is Kingdoms a good purchase? I played the demo and enjoyed playing through it but wanted to know if its worth the $10. Also is the DLC worth picking up as well? Thanks!

 

 
Ok, I have said this multiple times to whomever will listen, so here it goes again.

If you haven't played/bought it, go buy Alice. Now. One of the most underrated games this generation. Its just a wonderful game. Yeah, so the "free" bonus of the original is hard to play on a modern system without a mouse, but MR is worth this price without question. I pre ordered it when it came out and never regretted it.

KOA is a good game, never finished it because I was distracted with other games. Its fun, like Fable almost in a way. 10 bucks is a good price. I would unload my 360 disc for that price :whistle2:

Glad to see Phantom Breaker on sale for da cheap, in for that jazz!

Do I need to fire up ME3 before I DL the Citadel stuff?  I still have it wrapped up till I get through 1+2.  I Originally planned on owning the trilogy on Steam where I had the first 2.  But I got the games for gold free copy of ME1 and decided since EA wont release ME3 on Steam the 360 is where I'd do my full playthrough.  Sucks 2+3 aren't available for DL on the box.  My ME collection is a mess.

 
Alright, I called the ME3 Citadel sale coming up a short time ago so let's see the rest of the ME DLCs! Especially ME2!

Anyways, can anyone sell me on Shank 2? I want to like it, and would be down for more co-op games. But the demo felt clunky. Also, is the Mass Effect 3 DLC must own?

Shank2 is a very fun game, but If you don't like the demo, don't even try to purchase it even at that price. I enjoyed A LOT both Shanks, but the game is what it is, and it's like that till the end. That said, I prefer the first story-wise and graphically, and the second one for the gamplay (it's faster and the movements better).

Now I need to know the GwG for next month. I hope that Major will post them tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for their input on Alice, I think I'm grabbing it. Does anyone have an opinion on Crysis 3?
I thought the first one was fun at first but turned into a slog.....the second hasn't hit a sale while I was watching.

Had to delete a few games to make room for these purchases plus a couple games that have been waiting to be downloaded for weeks.

Anyone know if Microsoft is going to get it's act together and remove the USB limitation?

I've read a few articles and videos that say Shank 2's co-op isn't a co-op campaign. Sounded more like a horde type mode. I enjoyed the 5 minutes I played of it on PC when getting it in a Humble Bundle. Thinking about getting it on Xbox, but no co-op campaign and only 200 GS are leaning me on the "don't buy" side of the fence.

I don't think the 360 is going to see a lot of changes now that One is out.

 
can we keep the awkward internet flirting to PMs maybe? Or maybe jump to an AOL chat room?
