  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Edit: WTF!! A lot of Super League soccer teams tables have been added to Pinball FX2 :shock: I wasn't expecting that move from Zen Studios.

Damn, must have missed them. Then again, I wasn't even considering danmaku games on the X360 for a long time, pretty much only played them on PC, so when I realized they're there I just bought most of those on the spot, seeing they're not even frequently on sale. I don't regret the money spent on them, though, brilliant games.

About the sales, today I pulled the trigger on Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit. I never even considered that game because it looked like a 5-10$ game which was being sold at 15$. Now that it was 3-something bucks, I checked some more gameplays and it looks really fun. Also a quick look at the achievements shows it's easy to get them all, none of 'em seems particularly difficult or time-consuming. So it is something I'll play pretty soon (don't think this one will be buried in the backlog), also being able to aim at an easy 400G for it (not even DLC achievements).

Nah, it's all one table, they just decided to release it in a clusterfuck type of way. You have to choose which "team" you want to play for before you download the pack. Your scores are associated with that team and global leaderboards compare how the teams stack up (you can't change your team once you pick.. unless of course you buy the table again).

Just purchased DBZ for 9.89, and dirt 3! DBZ is totally worth it love the new mechanics and enhancements. This is the lowest price that will every happen get it while its hot.

how quickly will hell yeah wrath of the rabbit begin to wear on the gamer playing it?  seems like it could get redundant very quickly, but i'm hoping someone can convince me theres enough fresh content to keep it fun for a handful of hours

It's actually quite good and refreshing. I had to play it in short bursts to really enjoy it though. If you sit there playing it for an hour you're going to get bored pretty fast.

 
HELL YEAH! was probably my favorite title last year. I really enjoyed the hell out of that game (bad pun). Definitely recommended. It's not the SEGA title I was hoping to see on sale though. Where is my heavily discounted Toejam & Earl?

I should've waited a month to pick up SoulCalibur II HD. Sometimes nostalgia just clouds the mind!

I admit I haven't touched Verdict Day yet, but I enjoyed V, even if its online component was a bit more gimped in the west than it should have been. I don't know how Verdict Day handles the balance between online and single player, but most of the trailers I've seen seem to focus on the story.

If you've never touched the series before, they're pretty great games, though keep in mind that you'll probably spend as much time in menus min/maxing your mech as you will blowing things up. The supposed barrier to entry isn't nearly as high as some make it out to be, too - the game doesn't thrust tutorials in your face, but that never stopped people from sucking off Dark Souls.

gladly paided full price when it came out and 5 dollars for me is a steal

still waiting for a Resident Evil sale

as bad as operation raccoon city is suppose to be i would not mind nabbing it for 5 bucks if it was on sale

I bought Runner 2 with no problems and then I went to Bastion and got the error twice when I tried to get it, and then I backed out of the Bastion page and went back in and was able to get it. I think it was around the same time as you posted your comment last night, I'm glad I was able to get it as I would be super pissed if I were you.

I bought Dante's Inferno no problem but the download is sloooooooow.

 
So far I only spent 5 or so Euros that I had from Xbox Live Rewards to get Runner 2 and Hell Yeah. Good thing I didn't have to touch my IRL wallet just yet. I was tempted by Bastion but I already have it in my Steam backlog. F1 2013 is also a great deal (it's 20 Euros here), but if I buy that I can't manage to buy much else so I passed, besides from what I played 2012 and 2013 the controls feel nowhere near as good as 2011. Let's wait for the next sales, though I'm definitely keeping myself 8 or so Euros for the Dirt 3 + Driver San Francisco racing combo.

 
Bastion, Runner2 and such, have all reverted to their regular prices. Now to see with what surprises us MS in about 2 or 3 hours :bouncy:

Tempted by MGS for the price but I've never played a single MGS before. Thoughts on it?

P.S. That's the cheapest I've seen FIFA get (digital or disc), so that's a great price. 

 
Looks like my wallet might live another day, though it's to be seen whether there'll be more stuff showing up. Seconding the question regarding MGS, I only played like 1 hour of MGS1 and 30 mins of MGS3, and frankly the gameplay didn't blow me away - then again, it might have aged terribly, don't know. Wondering if it's worth getting Peace Walker HD for a fiver.

 
Skyrim is tempting, but I'd rather have the disc. If you buy the Legendary Edition does the DLC have to be installed, or just play right off the disc?
 
Bejeweled 3 for 1 dollar. Almost the only PopCap game I'm missing at this point on 360. Sold.

To further explain this, and to recommend this to others: Bejeweled is a fun casual game you already played in form or another, but Bejeweled 3 takes it to a whole new levels. Tons of very different game modes: along with the usual classic mode, a Zen mode where you can change visuals and sounds, a lightining mode which is Bejeweled Blitz on steroids, a genius Poker mode where you have to make color combos, a whole Quest mode with tons of different puzzles and scenarios to solve...

Oh, and easy achievements for 1$. 400G.
