  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

PVZ is a 8 possibly 9/10 game at times for me on the X1, not sure hwo the 360 version fares.

Also, yeah, Super Time Force this week. Beyond hyped for that one.

Just do what I did and use 4 controllers. You can even use those plastic Rock Band/GH instruments if you want.

 
I really hate the price difference. Don't think $9.99 more for xbox one version is worth it. It's the same exact game. They should be the same price for both consoles.

Actually it has Garden Ops so technically it does have a single player mode if you want to solo or local play but yes it's an online shooter pretty much.

They're not technically, the Xbox One version has split screen local multiplayer and "boss mode" which is basically just having ordnance on the field being called in by a player or watching the battle from overhead.

Probably some frame rate differences as well. Sometimes that game can get crazy with all the stuff on screen.

EDIT: There is one Project Spark game called Squirrel Simulator (Goat Simulator type game) that I want to share, but Xbox One keeps cutting off the start of the video. The start is one of the best parts of Goat Simulator. I think it uses voiceovers (might just be audio from a tv show or movie), which would be the first PS game that I played with voiceovers. I'll try again tomorrow night or maybe stream it then make a clip from that.

xbldb has been very slow for about 2 months now (since daylight savings kicked in). It's usually hours late in catching things, and by then, the regulars here have combed through most of the marketplace by hand and found at least 75% of the drops.

Is spylon even around any more? He's making money off xbldb through the ad spaces, you'd think he could fix the code so the site worked in real time again.

He's not, but don't knock the guy. He barely makes anything off the ad spaces (especially with how many of us have AdBlock), and his site gets a lot of costly traffic. He's been doing a service for us for a long time without charging any of us a cent (and it's worked for years), and he pretty much has the only XBL sale archive on the web so he's more than earned some slack.

Also, there's no "list". It's just Plants vs. Zombies: GvZ and Blops 2 Season Pass.

Edit: Oh, and DBZ: Ultimate Tenkaichi. :p (It's seriously still on sale).

I should have connected the dots between the BlOps 2 Season Pass and PvZ and assumed it was a Zombie DotW. Anyone else feel dumb for not picking up on it?

From great to crappy games there's a wide range of categories. Scourge is not great but neither crap, at least to my taste (TPS with cover system and 4 players coop campaign) and especially at that price.

 
Meh, no DLC is on sale again. And the usual staples (Walking Dead, Zombie Wranglers, Zombie Apocalypse 1, Dead Rising) are missing. What a half-assed theme. :p

 
I bought Dead Island Riptide on last sale when it was $15 and haven't played it yet. I should've waited a bit more.
