  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

So I got to playing Far Cry Classic from buying it earlier this week... and I remembered why I stopped playing it on PC besides the monsters. The AI is unbelievably sensitive and cheap. *Sigh* I probably should have spent my expiring points on Future Soldier instead.

I'm not defining what games are on the top of peoples lists, I'm stating the fact that there are more sought after remakes. If you don't get that you're fucking dumb.

I'm pretty sure kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 are remakes of the past kingdom hearts games.

I have several games that come to mind. The first is legacy of kain series remade.

Peggle 2 is a great buy for that price. I would like to see dead rising 3 dlc all half off, or more

No. Again I don't care what your most wanted remake is. What I'm saying for the 5th time is that one specific game is not universally agreed upon every single person as the game that most needs to be remade, and that is not opinion. If I have to explain that one more time i've lost hope for most in this thread.

They are, but they are on a single, last-gen console. On top of that, 2.5 still isn't out. As an Xbox One owner interested in KH3, it does me no good. I want to get the story before the new title releases, but I don't want to go spend $200 on an old console to play those. I want them on the console that I own.

What difficulty are you playing it on? The game is less difficult than the demo thanks to the automatic checkpoints. Shooting with the scope seems to give me an auto detect which makes the game easier for me. The story is moving slow otherwise I'm liking the game so far.

And thanks for those who replied to my GTA IV post. I have the PS3 disc version and haven't played it yet. These games are just too hard for me.

I am not trying to ridicule you. I'm just trying to figure out where you're coming from. However, rather than wasting time and keyboard clicks arguing back and forth, I will explain how business works in general. You're obviously a young guy so you may or may not know this.

In the world of business you almost always want to target the lowest common denominator. You want as many people as possible to be to buy whatever you're selling, since more buyers means more money when you are selling a uniform product. That's why when a publisher puts out a game they produce only a small number of "collectors" editions. These special editions sell for a much higher price, but that's not where the publisher gets their main cashflow. Makes sense right? If they produce nothing but collector's editions with figurines and soundtracks, they will probably go out of business since they will be catering to a far smaller segment of the population.

It's sorta the same way here. While Grim Fandango may not be at the very top of most people's list. It is likely in the top 10 or 20 or whatever. Will you only buy your #1 choice game and nothing else? Of course not. You will most likely be interested in any game in this so called top 20 list. Number 1 choices tend to be highly subjective and dependent on the person's own taste and experiences. My personal #1 choice would be a remake of Shining Force II. It's a fantastic game. But should I expect it to be on everyone's top 20 list? Ofcourse not. That's why it's much less likely that it will be remade. Grim Fandango is not even in my top 5. But you know what? It is in my top 20, and it probably is in a lot of people's top 20 so that's why they picked it. It will sell a whole lot more copies that Shining Force II.

4. Mega Man X

5. Secret of Mana or Illusion of Gaia

That's my top 5 without thinking too hard about it.  Probably close to most people's.

PowerStone Collection (with online play)

Earthbound Trilogy

Gex

Rampage

Shenmue 1 and 2

Maniac Mansion

I didn't include Grim, since I got that wish. ;)

1) Grim Fanfango
2) any of the classic square RPGs that got no more love, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana
3) the older Zelda games Ocarina Majora
4) Septerra Core for tge PC with a sequel
5) the Warriors
 
Great the remake subject is pretty hot around here.

Alright than, I'd like remakes for:

Final Fantasy XII  -  do it, stop teasing and just do it.

Medieval  -  puzzles and style please keep that if there ever will be a remake

So since we're so off topic already, I'd like to ask a technical question.  Whenever I'm signed in to my XBL profile that has Live, but I'm not connected to the internet for whatever reason (usually spotty wifi).  I'm not able to play any games.  What;s up with this?  I go into My Games, try to launch one and I get one of two errors: 1. Unable to Launch _________.  Please try again later.  or 2.  Please insert disc....

These are all either GonD or Arcade games I'm trying play here.  That I paid for.  On that account.  Any ideas? 

I don't recall this happening before the last update a couple weeks ago.

This is on 360, btw.

Did you change consoles recently? It sounds like you need to transfer your licenses to the console you have offline.

Holy crap, I did. Thanks! I never would have figured that out on my own.

* Wow. Ok. So I just read how to transfer licenses. I really have to redownload EVERYTHING? Totally not worth it. I just got a newer console, the hard drive is the same. Does that matter?

OOoooo. That's a tough one. A lot of the games I play have numerous songs that I like. I'll limit it to one song per title. Only original songs. None of that licensed crap.

In no particular order:

1. Portal- Still Alive

2. Kingdom Hearts- Simple and Clean (both the vocal and instrumental version)

3. Gran Turismo 3- Moon Over the Castle

4. Donkey Kong Country- Bramble Blast, Aquatic Ambiance, and Fear Factory (I lied about picking only one song per game)

5. Super Mario 64- Dire, Dire Docks

There are so many other songs I either forgot or didn't list. :p

Now that's really difficult. Some games have just an amazing soundtrack overall, namely the Castlevania series.

As of right now, i could just recall a few:

Pokemon Stadium - Mewtwo Battle Theme.

Castlevania - Well, not just one but loved both CV64 and Order of Ecclesia OST's.

Golden Sun - Same, just too many good pieces.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 - Carnival Stage.

Killer Instinct Gold/2 - Gargos Theme.

And so many more that i would have to revise my whole childhood to compile my favorite songs.

what'd you guys think about days of future past? Not sure who that guy at the end of the movie was but he can move pyramids or something pretty crazy
