  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Forgot to mention I tried Child of Light ... and quickly deleted it. I'm not a big fan of turn based RPG's but I don't like how the combat scenes were. You just swing the sword where you stand and it magically hits the enemy on the other side of the screen; that's just lazy. I hate these "oh just hit me" RPG's and appreciate the attempts to attack and dodge with a correctly timed button press like Final Fantasy and Legend of Dragoon offer.

Forgot about Pac Man Museum and might pick it up.  I already have the original and Ms. Pacman installed with the anniversary version on the PS3. I need to see what these daily deals are first.  Any idea as to what time they will be posted?

I keep reading about a sale on Walking Dead Season 2 but they don't mention the price. All I see are "99 cents for Episode 1" and "400 is on sale". How much is the Season Pass for Season 2??

 
It says on the first page that you can get the Xbox One free games without having an Xbox One.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm trying to get Max and the webpage is just showing the progress spinny circles after I tried to buy it.

EDIT - Nevermind, worked eventually, picked up Max and Guacamelee.

Shame. I would have picked up Sensible Soccer. I did pick up Ducktales and TWD2 season pass, so it's not a complete loss.

Edit: never mind about the soccer game.

If you have no games to play, by all means go back. If you do then read some synopses and write them off as better read than played. I've played most of the games in the series and I'm lost on who is who or how they all coexist.

He's wrong. Sensible Soccer is indeed on sale for $3.29, I just loaded up the purchase page. And it's also showing $3.29 for Gold members on the site.

 
So I just grabbed the Season Pass for Walking Dead Season 2 and I also last minutes decided to get Narco Terror.

I'm considering TMNT Out Of The Shadows but not sure if I want it. It looks like decent fun but reviews have not been kind.

I hope they post tomorrows daily sales early because that would help me decide on a purchase.

i also posted about this saying the same thing. i tried the trial and picked it up. i enjoy 2d sports games like that.

It's 19,99€ for us lucky europeans. I hope they forgot to pull a switch, because I don't think many people is going to jump in for double the price.

 
Out of the Shadows was my favorite TMNT game since Turtles in Time (SNES).  It's not perfect, but I had a good time with it and you don't have to hear "Slice n Dice" over and over again.

I noticed Halo: Spartan Assault is only good for today so I'm picking that up.  BTW, I was playing Far Cry Classic last night and it dawned on me why I wasn't liking Halo: CE as much: There was very little stealth gameplay. On Far Cry, I'm hiding behind bushes and trucks waiting for the right time to strike. With Halo, I'm going in blasting without any real skill needed. Since I played it on Easy (Far Cry is also on Easy but provides quite a challenge),   I'm going to play Halo 2 on the next difficulty up to see if my experience changes.

It's bad enough when I have trouble purchasing a game when I have the laptop on at the same time. Curse you, Xbox, for being a power hog.

Is there a reason why the CoD: Ghosts season pass sale is not listed in the OP?  I know it's the worst CoD ever, but still....

I'm considering getting it for the extinction dlcs, if my friends will get it, too.

Probably because it was the very last price reduction to propagate on XBLDB.com, so it must've hit this morning.
 
I guess I am going to pick up that soccer game because of nostalgia. It would be the Sensible thing to do.  :cool:

The only non recent XBLA game I'd pick up would probably be Darkstalkers. Hopefully we'll see it in the next few days.

Ending up not buying anything from today's dailies, will wait til the last day to pick up the weekly stuff I want :) incase better stuff drops daily and takes all my money.
 
Just bought bunch of games before I drove out to work.

I am still debating on Ground Zeros, I would prefer to play it on the new gen though. Is there a very significant difference in graphics (or enjoyment overall) for those who have played on both old and new gen?

Not much difference graphically going off YouTube videos.

With how fast the price drop as well, I'm holding off. Still have to finish Peace Walker HD as well.

Hopefully they're going to discount the whole Halo series + DLCs... I still need the two damn Halo Wars DLCs :(

I would love to see Halo Wars as a GWG title, that would bring back a lot of people online.

How do you know? I need to pick up halo 4.

As for GZ..it's pretty on the ps4, looks really good on x1, the game is about an hour long main mission. Once you know the routes it's like..10 mins. The extra missions are just the same mission with a different requirement basically. Think of the VR missions expanded. It's worth $10 if you're an MGS fan. Not $30 IMO and that's what I paid.
 
Some of the extra missions are really different from the main mission. You'll be shooting from a helicopter and taking out body snatchers as Raiden. May even rescue a familiar person. Getting all achievements is challenging as well. 8-11 hours to get all of them.
 
Man, I'm surprised at some of these prices. Skyrim DLCs beat the Steam summer sale, and I've never seen The Walking Dead Season 2 for so cheap. Tempted by a lot of these... Still, it sucks that there's no promise of future backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, and I've already got a bit of a backlog.

Yep MGS:GZ stirs up some debate, but I'm not concerned about graphics so much. Main story line is about 2 hours long and about 5 hours with extra stuff. Since I have the hard copy I think I'll pass on digital. What attracts me though is the file size of 1.53GB, I can easily fit that.

 
I was REALLY considering getting TWD season 2 pass, but then I remembered it was coming on disc later this year, so I think I'll wait and rent the disc from Gamefly at some point.

Definitely picking up Halo: SA when I get home from work, hoping tomorrow's sales bring more things I'm interested in!

I know some have been discounted before, but I would like a much deeper discount tbh

 
As a fan of music games, I'm recommending Child of Eden. Don't let "Kinect" scare you; it's just an option.

$7.50 for Walking Dead Season 2's pass is a steal, but I'm waiting to see what else will be offered before I pull the trigger on it.

Thoughts on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

 
Grabbed TWD2 season pass. I picked the first episode for one buck some time ago, so I got the whole season at a nice price  O:) Will wait until all the episodes are out to play them though.
