  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

BTW is Crimson Dragoon any good? I have great memories from Panzer on Saturn and bought an Xbox One last week. Titanfall isn't helping with my backlog, but I was able to finish The Witcher 2 today and it was a lot better than I expected. Especially after almost dropping the game in the first few hours because Easy was too easy and Normal too hard.

One of my good friends recommended to stay away from Crimson Dragoon. The originals were good, Crimson was awful though, he said.

 
All this talk about DA 2 got me motivated to start it on my pc.  Disappointed to find out that there's not native controller support though so now I'm tempted to buy it for $5 to play with a controller, when a few hours ago I wasnt even really planning on playing it for pc,  this is a sickness.

Not an AC fan, and PvZ is out of my price range, sadly. Red Faction maybe if it were $5, but haven't played a Red Faction game since the very first one came out.
 
So tempted to buy Oblivion at that price but I gave up on that game after closing the first Oblivion gate.  Not sure it is worth trying to go back to invest the time.

 
I always thought T & A in games was silly. But between what I've seen in Max Payne 3, Far Cry 3, and now the Witcher 2..I think I was premature....in my decision.

PvZ:GW is my most played game on the Xbox One, over Titanfall and Dead Rising 3. It's addicting and very rewarding trying to unlock everything.

Finally broke down and bought Blackgate, really wanted to play this on the go with my Vita but it seems the map issue cannot be ignored.

I don't use my 360 often, so any help would be appreciated:

(1) How the hell do I change the default download location? I could not find it in the settings, or I'm just stupid.

(2) After I purchase Blackgate, I immediately cancelled the download due to lack of space. Now when I click on it in my download history, it shows the option "confirm purchase" instead of "download again" like all of my other purchased games. Is this normal?

1) Don't know, sorry.

2) It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, it sometimes can just take a few minutes, maybe up to an hour, before it registers that you've actually purchased the item sometimes. I could be wrong on that, someone else may come in and correct me, but it should correct itself in time.

Does anyone have a $5 Xbox code laying around? A friend of mine stopped in for some gaming. I told him about DA2 and he's really wanting to get it now. If someone has a code I will give you one tomorrow from the GameStop thing when I get mine. I have plenty of space bucks so I don't need the code. I just want it for him before its not on sale anymore.

Need to make some decisions on these daily deals so I can head to bead. Still tempted by Halo 4 but I think with the collection for Xbone coming out that at $15 it's easier to wait. Wish they had put Reach on sale instead, not particularly interested in Halo but that one always sounded intriguing. DA2 I'm tempted on even though I have it on disc for PS3. Wish I still had my 360 DAO save file from years ago. Still really tempted by Arcania for some reason so I freed up a gig to check out the demo.

Think I'm probably in for Batman though.

Edit- Decision made on ArcaniA and it's a definite no. It's one of those things where if maybe this or maybe that were just a little bit better it would be more guilty pleasure than just a bad game. The game's so aliased that you can't barely tell what's going on, combat is sluggish and clunky, and the game as a whole feels like it's drowning in molasses. If just one of those areas was up to par I would probably bite on it. That money's better spent on the Skyrim DLC or something though.

I don't remember about the second game but I remember DAO you would walk around covered head to toe until there was a load screen.

I want Batman: Arkham Blackgate and AC: Liberation but at 50% off and them being WB and Ubisoft titles I'll wait for hopefully a greater discount at a later time. Otherwise I'm sure we'll see them at 50% off again and I don't mind waiting since I won't play them immediately.
 
Sucks when I've already played all the games, or have it already on some type console/handheld. Maybe Friday deals will have something for me.

Well I splurged on Batman and DA2 before bed.

Looking forward to 8 PM tomorrow since there's nothing to buy until then. :p
