  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

So yeah, the sales are underwhelming, but at least I've found one of the clearance bins I mentioned earlier. Got myself Kinect Joy Ride, Fable The Journey and PES2013 overall for less than 12 Euros. Definitely solid. If nothing amazing comes up tomorrow that will dry up my virtual wallet, I'll pick up SWOS and Skate 2 surely, and GOW3 possibly for the multiplayer and coop, despite the fact that I've found the first to be pretty damn bad.

 
On the fence about dead rising off the record and payday 2, does payday 2 have single player and is it any good? What are thoughts about DR:OTR?

Was Prince of Persia any good? Never player any of those games.

Payday 2 can be played alone but you really don't want to

The AI can only shoot and get you up

This is a game you have to play with friends or take a shot at playing with randoms

You also have to work together, if you don't, you will fail

and people need to stop whining about the Xbox One. I have yet to finish playing all the games I got for it from buying, sales, GWG, and DWG.

If you don't like to play any of the offered games, then say that, and not that there aren't any games available.

Got a code through the 360 for the first episode of Walking Dead Season 2, but I accidentally deleted it :whistle2:( Called up Xbox support and since it's a special promotion, they couldn't give me the code again. Instead, they sent me a 1 month XBL code. So at least I got something for the 16 minute call.

Here's hoping there is something good the last day of these sales as the only thing I've gotten is Halo Spartan Assault. Crummy sales imo

Don't get your hopes up for season pass sale. At least not until tomorrow weekly gold sales start again.

If anybody needs Twitch achievement for watching stream with over 100k viewers, Evo is up to 126k. They are running really late, so it will probably be up for awhile.

 
I hope Microsoft showers us in some quality deals tomorrow.  This really could be the 360's last meaningful summer.  

And has anyone figured out the qualifications for the free $75 credit with an Xbox One upgrade?  

 
I'm still on the fence about Titanfall XB1 for $40. Maybe I'm just being old fashioned and still want a disc for that much that I can sell later.

Is it worth it for $40? Or should I wait for it to go cheaper?

Anyone that doesn't own BioShock Infinite already, take this chance to buy one of the greatest games of the last gen. I don't know if many games can compare to the beauty in this game.

Also, you start BioShock Infinite in my home state. Which is just...balllin...like balls.
 
I didn't play Bioshock 1 or 2 before starting Infinite and Infinite is indeed an amazing experience. So, no you don't have to play the others first, but it helps. I played Bio 1 after and loved it. But Infinite is really something special. Worth way more than $10.
