  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I can't even recommend NASCAR at $20.19... I bought it during the Target sale for $20... I am a HUGE NASCAR fan (grew up a fan, parents are fans, worked with race team...) and I could not get into it. There is just no balance between the feel... Is it an arcade racer? Is it a sim racer? I don't know what the hell it is, but it sure as hell isn't much fun... In fact, this rant reminds me that I need to throw it up on eBay and get rid of it.

Seriously - if anyone is looking for a game to play and loves story, visuals and great controls... This is a steal at under $10. I just finished it this week and am thinking about going through again just to reimmerse myself in the story.

 
I was planning on playing Uncharted 2 tonight (never played it before) but you guys talking about Infinite kinda makes me want to start that instead. Just wish I didn't have to wait an hour for it to download.

It's about as buggy as every other Bethesda game. The good thing about Bethesda glitches though is that they're usually so funny and entertaining that they actually end up making the game even better.

I keep meaning to ask if the big bundle has ever gone on sale. I want it after Evo but if I buy it then it will immediately go on sale. Also $40 is a bit steep when season 2 is about to start up and it will probably be another $40 for all that stuff. :wall:

Yesterday as was mentioned. Worth going back and watching though. Killer Instinct final 8 was exceptional except for the actual championship match. BlazBlue championship match was crazy though. It wasn't a single defining moment like the Daigo SF3 match that's famous but it was that same level of awesome spread out over like 20 minutes.

Still a bit buggy, but much better than it was in the past. I've got about 300 hours into it and only ran into a couple problems after a few patches came out. Obviously PC version is best, but still totally worth it on 360.

Eld as I've mentioned my disc drive died. So even at $6.99 used at GS, I can't play it D:

 
So yeah there is a "Demo Only" and a "Purchase" version of Painkiller Hell And Damnation which explains why I missed it before. I'm playing the demo to remember why I was interesting in it:

Because it's fun that's why. It's a FPS in the style of Serious Sam with less humor and more brutality with heavy metal playing in the background. The graphics are better too. 

This and Bioshock Infinite are the highlights for tonight/tomorrow.  Great way to end the week of sales.

 
Painkiller has a 53 on metacritic

I've played games with way lower scores that I enjoyed

Don't let other people tell you how bad a game is, just because they don't like it doesn't mean you can't love it

 
I want to buy BS:I season pass, but this website has made it so that I feel dirty whenever I go to buy something at full price... I guess I can justify it because GS gave me plenty of credit to buy it over the past few Thursdays. :)

 
$20 is worth it for the content you get. I dare say that it's the best DLC right up there with the likes of mass effect and skyrim. The exclusive gear makes your 1999 mode run easier too.

It'd be nice to see but I really can't stress enough how fantastic the story DLC for Infinite is. Easily the best add-on content for a single player story I've ever played. Period.

Right? I grabbed MW3 for $6.99 boxed, ended up getting the steelbook at GS because I'm a regular, and still just barely satisfied with the price I paid. Not that it's bad, just yearly franchises can't justify the price tag anymore.
