  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

That's actually a decent deal. I play this game every other day with my friend and the servers are still rather well populated. Honestly our most played game outside of Titanfall.

FYI you can buy coins with real money but it's not really needed. Also all the DLC maps have been free so far.

Is there a chance that Banjo Kazooie by itself will go on sale? I would rather buy the first game at $7.49 than buy both at $14.99.

Season pass for Walking Dead season 2 is on the dashboard, under "deals with gold" section. Assuming you can put XBL credit toward it, as I purchased it with XBL credit last night.

Those two are pretty much the only games I'm looking forward to.

 
I no longer have that $10.10 burning a hole in my pocket, so surely this week means racing games including WRC Powerslide, Forza 4, and some NFS game is actually play!

Not so according to MS, since they keep putting Rockstar, Bioshock, CoD stuff on repeat cycle every two months or so. The cycle before last was Mass Effect 2, Borderlands and Risk. Now we hardly see any of the former and(whether you view it as a blessing or not) Risk Factions has been delisted.

By the time this cycle has been repeated to death, expect no more sales on the 360. I'm being realistic here, not the one who rings the death bell, really. Summer is already a month in and this is the first time we don't have a "summer of arcade" on the 360. Deals will soon die off or start dropping in quantity.

can't let myself pull the trigger on the next episode of The Wolf Among Us even though I've got $50 in XBL funny money.  I know eventually they will all go down to $2.50/episode.  Want to play it really bad, though.  WHY MUST I BE SO CHEAP??

I'm hoping the sales suck next week since I'm moving and need time to settle in. So please, if you're reading this Microsoft, put Amy and Double Dragon 2 on sale.

 
I wish they had this sale a month ago. I would have traded in more games to the MS Store and converted them to digital. Both Fallout games and probably a few others would have been great seeing how many hours I've put into them.

My final tally is TWD S2 pass. I'm still debating on a few games:

Has anyone played the regular Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the Director's Cut? I know they implement the DLC and did some balancing. The balancing is my main interest since I previously bought The Missing Link but still haven't played the game.

I'm tempted by Darksiders 2 but with the normal price being $40 on GonD I'm sure we'll eventually see it drop to $20 then see it again for 75% off. I still need to play the original so that's why I'm waiting.
 
So i already have the disc version of pvz:gw and ive so far been able to keep my entire xb1 collection digital only. So with it being $23 this week i called up gamestop to check on its trade value, to which the lady responded "about $25 because of the current bonus 50% trade in value this week"

Aka gain $2 by buying it digitally and trading in the hard copy

Probably not. I got one last week and that was before I bought the season 2 pass. Hate to say, you probably missed out this time. Good news is that it will most likely be free again to everyone like they did with TWD S1 and TWAU.

So from the sale and about 7-8 weeks or so of not buying anything on Live, my tally from the "Ultimate Game Sale" is The Walking Dead: Season 2 - season pass (with free episode 1), Ducktales Remastered and Bloodrayne. I'm eager for the 12 or 14 or whatever Days of Christmas sale thing when I can see majority of those games return for cheaper.

I looked it up on the IOS app and it's $15 base so $24 after PUR and 50% bonus. I guess it would be worth it if you are really wanting to go digital. I guess the only advantage to keeping the disc is you could get a few bucks for it down the road if you decide you don't want to play it ever again. I'm sure plenty of people play it now but that seems like a game that he online won't stay active very long. Just my opinion.

 
So I only decided to buy The Walking Dead Season 2 Season Pass. Having Dead Rising 2 and never playing it convinced me not to buy OTR.  I almost bought Darksiders 2 but it can be had cheap used at GS.  I just have too many other games to justify buying anything. I have almost dropped 30 hours into ACIII and I am only on Sequence 10.  I keep getting distracted.  After a VERY slow start I think this is actually a great AC game.  Conner's fighting style is so much more rewarding than the previous games and the Frontier is really cool to just run around assassinating bears from the treetops.

It's a great game. It can be played without having played the first season, but it's a better experience, and makes more sense if you play the first season. Just thought I'd give you a heads up on that.

There are currently 3 out of the 5 episodes available of season 2, with episode 4 supposedly coming next Wednesday, and episode 5 is likely due by next month or September, (Telltale is slow at getting them out sometimes).
