You can also get 50 bing points by doing all of the discover stuff (which you can only do once, but still).

I don't know, I beat the game on Hard with him and without dying. Just gotta learn to play him and pick the right path (going through Stage 8 to get his sword).
 
I find it ironic that last week we had a boardgame theme where Risk Factions would've actually made sense as a sale item, yet it was not part of the sale.

Anyone have any opinions on the Saints Row 2 DLC? I just started playing the main game and it's fun but I want to know if the DLC is worth it or not.

I heard that the Saints Row 2: Corporate Warfare dlc is more story driven than ultor exposed. This includes Dax and you find out what happens to him. The other dlc is mostly do missions aganist ultor with porn actress tera patrick ;), its up to you man. There both great and dont go and sale often and probably wont again with saints 3 a month away.

Thanks for the info. I also wanted to ask how the SR2 dlc was. I bought the Bulletsorm dlc when it was on sale a few weeks ago and re-bought the game to play the dlc.

Needless to say, I was disappointed since it's just more echo maps and that other mode which is like Hoarde mode(waves of enemies).....But I'll be picking up the SR2 dlc on your recommendation. Thnaks!!

That sucks about the Bing deal. I just cashed in 1500 Bing points for Ms points on Monday! I could have gotten a whole extra 400 points!

i hate to add to your misery (not really) but you could've gotten an extra 800 points mot 400.
1500 bing points = 1200 ms points @ 500/400
1500 bing points = 2000 ms points @ 300/400

And yes that sucks!

Yup. Part of this month's permanent price drops (I spotted and posted about it days ago). It's on the dashboard. Thanks for the detailed description reddjoey. I'm going to pick them up if I ever go back to WfC.

Where? =\ I'm only seeing three Hot Deals: $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate, 5% off Ticketjones, and a free personalized astrology reading. Is this already over, or can someone link me directly? :( Maybe it's region-specific.

I just checked the Bing Rewards thread. It was limited to 5,000 codes. Son of a bitch, I was saving up for MSP and missed it... :whistle2:#

Already sold out of those 5000 Bing deals? Glad I had enough for one.

On a side note, Anyone notice that we are limited to 6000 MS points per Bing account? I'm not close yet but that will be a sad day indeed...

I wondered if that was an option. I couldn't recall if there was anything preventing just making a new account.

It's limited to one account per computer. I don't know how they track that, so you may just e ale to delete cookies, but technically it's not possible. You can set up a new account for every computer you have access to, though.

My plan when I've reached the MSP limit is to switch to Amazon credit.

I use different browsers on the same computer and it works like a charm for me!

Yeah, now that NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, Radiant Silvergun, and Guardian Heroes are released on XBLA, there is not much else for me upcoming on XBLA to look forward for. Sonic CD, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, along with Dust: An Elysian Tail I hope to get. The rest are only "I hope these come to the XBLA lineup," like Jet Set Radio (if Sega is doing thier DC titles on XBLA), Zombies!!! boardgame (it is on Windows Phone, but not XBLA), and some Capcom love with the Power Stone or Justice Gakuen games (Rival Schools, cus the bonus modes have not been localized and online play would rock) ... Oh yeah, and Silhouette Mirage to finish off Treasure's Sega Saturn releases.

Along with deals on many XBLA titles I was willing to wait for deals on, I've almost gotten all I want from XBLA. Aside from Trenched (Iron Brigade), the SNK titles, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo: HD
Remix (amazing it was not part of the Capcom XBLA deals), Soul Calibur, and this year's Summer of Arcade titles, I feel I have almost all I want from XBLA at the moment. So I need new XBLA titles to get hyped about.

I am awaiting deals to drum up interest in some XBLA titles I would otherwise not consider. It has happened before.

Oh wow. Thanks joey for that bit of news. I still had hope till today that final fight would be part of some capcom themed dotw.

Picked up Saints Row 2 and all the DLC because it said local co-op on the description. I guess I should've researched that more, as it's local co-op by system link only. Very unhappy :(

Use a different mailing as well, based on my past experience.
 
Earlier in the week I was excited for the SR2 DLC, but I feel on the fence now that I actually have the points for it. For the Corporate Warfare DLC, is there a story to it or is it online only? Looking at the achievement list, it seemed like it was the latter.

There is some single player story missions in both packs, but theyre not very long. Like getting both I dare say youre getting about 6 missions total. It's more worth it overall if you have a friend to get the achievements with.

Thanks! It's the first time I've actually caved and bought one of the 400 point full body suits (and hopefully the last because those things are way too damn expensive!) but in this case it's totally worth it. I'm a sucker for all things Batman. My favorite hero of all time. I'm thinking I might go back to the license plate 1BAT4U on my car again. Nobody ever got the reference and I got tired of explaining it. : /
