MicroCenter, of which there are like four on the eastern seaboard to my knowledge (MA, NY, PA, VA), is doing an in-store-only $100 retailer mail-in rebate on Xbox 360s to promote the "Grand Opening of Our New Gaming Department."
While probably tough to get to for most, the deal is nonetheless a good one and legit. It runs from Dec. 4 through Dec. 17. The whole rest of the store appears to have straight-up MSRP pricing, so I'm not predicting them to get much gaming business after this.
I smell other retailers moving in on similar deals soon, perhaps at Microsoft's behest.
EDIT: Evidently MicroCenter already sold some games or something according to the post below from Nov., but the deal is officially good again 'til 12/17.
