The code has been redeemed, but not due to anyone solving the puzzle. I ended up giving it away elsewhere after everyone quit trying. Granted it was a Banshee prop, but I was checking to see if there was interest in such a puzzle. I *did* have an unredeemed 1600MSP code I was considering giving away in a similar fashion...
EDIT: Ah, that's just the 'hints' post. Trying to dig up the original puzzle...
 
I really enjoyed the puzzle thing for Toy Soldiers even though I didn't solve it in time.

for full game codes, it's definitely worth the effort and prevents lurkers/lazy asses from redeeming them.
 
Well, I gotta admit you sir are awesome for that quest. Easily beat the shit out of mine. Too bad I wasn't here at that time to try solving it, would have been fun. Too bad people gave up easily. I believe I would've tried anything I could to solve it even if it was already redeemed.

Man I'm tempted to unbookmark this thread. People just give away useless avatar stuff that nobody is going to use anyway, and I bet a handful of people use firefox/chrome scripts to notify them when this topic is updated, and if they have a smartphone, they will grab the code the second it is posted

I stay for the gems like minecraft/1600 point codes but they are so few in number... man. I don't even know why I'm posting this >_>

Some people actually use that "useless avatar stuff". Not always you will get that type of codes, as you said that are few in numbers. If you want to unbookmark this thread, no one's stopping you, and it's your sole decision.

PD: I didn't even know there was a script for Firefox to notify anything. I would be really annoyed to know the exact moment when a code gets dropped. I like the awesome feeling of entering by my own will and trying to redeem a code that gets successfully redeemed.
