Xbox Indie Game - Olu - Check it out if you like Rez!

Thorough review but this game is basically a low budget version of rez. Everything from the sounds to how the enemies come swarming in, its an exact clone. Surpised they actually let the game through to the market place, wouldnt be too surprised if it gets removed because Tetsuya Mizuguchi complains the game completely rips Rez off.
 
Yeah, it is definitely a bit of a rez clone and I tried to make that clear in the review. It does add the idea of having two types of attacks and enemies, but that's about it as far as originality.

But there are only so many different types of archetypes that games can fall into. Should we discount streets of rage simply because it is a complete ripoff of final fight?

Yeah, it's unoriginal and you should definitely play rez first, but if you want more rez, this is kind of your only option and it does a good job of aping the style.
