Xbox Live Gold $10 off

Didn't see this anywhere else (and yes, I did search), but right now, Microsoft is offering 12 months of Xbox Live Gold for $39.99, purchased on your console through the dashboard.

Not the best deal, but still $10 off the regular price... No idea when this expires. I think it's only good for renewals, not first-time memberships.

$1 for your first renewal month is a good deal. My Gold expires in March 2011 and the first month of renewal is locked in for $1.

These deals are targeted. It showed up on the dashboard the day after I turned off auto-renewal on xbox.com.

You don't even have to support India's call centers, account management can be done online.

As soon as that $1 month gets processed, I'm turning it back off.
