have one of these myself. Awesome headset for such a low price. Def worth getting it if you're looking for a good headset for a decent price.

Yeah the video review worried me where he says they changed them out for cheaper items and didn't change the description. If I do buy this I will buy it directly from amazon to hopefully avoid this issue.

I actually use http://www.amazon.com/External-Channel-Sound-Adapter-Notebook/dp/B000N35A0Y/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b with my X11.
Never heard complaints from other people saying that the quality was bad, never have used the audio out port though. but mic in was good. especially at 3 bucks

I may have to get that one then, and you use it with your PS3? You should try the audio out and see if it is any good. I will prob just plug the audio cable right into my monitor anyway, but just curious. For $3 that one is pretty convincing.
 
I got a pink one from GoGamer a little over 2 years ago for the same price. Good quality, range, sound and mic, big comfy foam covers for people with glasses. Need a new pair because I wore them warped over one ear constantly until the plastic frame cracked. Might grab these. Thanks OP.
 
Just got it today. The sound quality is good. I wish it could go a little louder, but it isn't too big of an issue. I am yet to try the mic, but I'm sure it's fine.
 
how did you guys order the 9.99 headset? I add to cart but in the checkout, keep getting error after confirming shipping address. It's only like this if i try to buy the 9.99 white one from amazon. If i buy the black one for 12.99 it checkouts fine.
