when I bought the fusion controller I didn't read reviews so I didn't know it was wired. Do I get a USB male to female cord to extend the cord? I haven't opened it yet so i'm debating whether to keep it now
Well, the specs mention this:

Braided 9.8 ft. Cord- Wired for tournament play and regulations, stay competitive and avoid latency

Anyone looking for a Vita case, I have the Vita Travel Pouch combined with a Hori Face Cover, and it works great!  Not the heaviest protection in the world for the Vita, and you can't use a grip with this arrangement, but the pouch works great combined with the Face Cover, and has extra space for game cards, memory cards, earbuds, and even the USB charge cable (but not the AC adapter, too big).  These Travel Pouches seem to be 4.99 at all the BBs near me, a great price.  They do show 15.99 on the BB website, but were 4.99 around my area.

Can someone please confirm this? I read the return policy and it doesn't say that it must remain sealed.
I checked with BB and for hardware it's 2 weeks to return and can be opened. 9 feet cord hough does seem better than most controllers and at worst for $15 I have a pc controller or can buy an extender from monoprice

There are four different pictures with descriptions about the cord. There's no excuse.
I saw the OP that said the 360 wireless wheel and a ps3 controller were on clearance so went and bought them with the "buy now ask questions later" philosophy. Not a big deal, at this price i'm keeping it

If you have the pro controller available I would recommend picking some up for that price. Games like Mario kart and smash bros. will them handy.

Too late for me anyway, sold out near me unless there's one at the store not showing on the site. No big deal I don't own any of those games or wouldn't play them two player.

You can return anything except video games opened back to BBY. They'll take consoles, accessories, whatever. I've done it for consoles and headsets. Everything is the same return period (15 for non-elite).

I like the Fusion controller a lot. Won't use it for games that require heavy use of the D-pad, but it'll be my default for everything else.

The matte grips are sort of pointless imo. They're so slippery.

On second thought... the dead zone on the analog sticks is quite big. Is that not an issue for any of you guys who also picked it up?

Ergonomically it's great but yeah... I just booted a game up using it and... dead zone :/

GOt everything I wanted from two stores. Move camera and controller pack, nav controller, extra move, sharpshooter, handgun holder for move, fusion controller, move charger, move camera tv attachment.

I mean I'd be more skeptical of the thing if I had actually paid full or near full price for it. But for only 16$, I can't complain. Especially since I needed a second controller anyway

It felt fine for gta5 for me. I noticed less trouble making small aiming adjustments than with dual shock 3.

Quite a few reviewers said that the deadzone was very little , are you sure that you don't have a defective one?

Does anyone know how many games use two Move controllers at once? As in, one in each hand. I think the sports compilation did, but I'm not sure if anymore do.

I already have a Move, but don't really have a use for two unless some games take advantage of dual Moves. And I know the PS4 still supports Move, has anyone heard if any games announced have Move support?

Decided to go ahead and jump on a Fusion. Also got a backup Wireless Speed Wheel.

I put in Modern Warfare 2 tonight and it felt perfect. I'm familiar with the concept of dead zones and such, having had many 360 controllers become frustrating and drifting off to one side on very sensitive games.

what you have to take into account as well is that not every game's dead zone is the same. It's programmed in at some level as well. Mass Effect and Dragon Age have very very very low dead zones and is why sometimes you see people noticing that their controller is reading a few degrees left or right of center constantly but they never noticed it in games like Fallout or Bayonetta or Halo.

Other people have noticed this in Mass Effect as well
http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/107/index/865803/1

Another complaint thread about drifting in 360 pads
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/927749-xbox-360/63474309

The same problem in Dragon Age Origins

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/141/index/6066121/1

For that reason developers program in a slight degree of dead zone into the game to compensate for hardware flaws.

Tried out my Fusion. I'm thinking the packaging and extras, without the controller, could retail for more than what they're charging, lol.

FYI for those getting a fusion controller for PS3.  This controller doesnt work with PS2 games.  Disc based (if you have a BC PS3) or Downloaded PS2 games.  I have a BC PS3 and I could not use it with any of my 20 or so PS2 games I still own or Twisted MEtal Black (downloaded version) that came with Twisted Metal on the PS3.  I found this out a few weeks ago when I was itching for some GTA waiting for GTA5 and went to throw in San Andreas.

I picked up quite a bit.

Essentials pack

Nav controller

Move charging dock

Vita Starter Pack

Move Sharp Shooter

PS3 Fusion controller

All for like $60, not to bad, thanks OP and BBY clearance.

After trying out the Fusion controller I went out and picked up the other one that was still left in my area yesterday.

To me, the analog sticks are quite perfect. I did not notice any sort of extra large dead zone or anything of the that nature. The sticks are very smooth and fluid. The triggers and buttons on the other hand .. they're ok. Not bad but nothing special. For $15 though I doubted that I would find another controller of that caliber. Definitely worth picking one up for those who have one around you.

Also picked up a backup Move and Nav controller for the PS3 along with the WiiU essential kit for the storage cover and a couple of the afterglow WiiU pro controllers which are surprising nice. I remember trying some afterglow stuff in the past and it was horrible. These actually feel and control quite well. Especially for $6 and change. Should do fine for some extra Mario Kart and Smash Brothers controllers.

You could do like CAG BiggNick and go 'Rambo Style' in some HOTD or some other rail games.:D I tried it for a second, but my arms got tired trying to hold 2 at once.

After calling my local Best Buy the other day and asking about those Fusion controllers, and having them tell me they didn't have any, I thought I'd stop by the store since I was in the area.
Of course, they had one sitting on the shelf.
Very Glad they did, because its pretty nice, and I just picked up a cheap PS3 on Thursday.

Wish the 360 Fusions would go on clearance too.

I just checked mybestbuy account and there is a coupon for $10 off using gamers club for both the xbox 360 and ps3 versions of the power controller.

Just ordered 2 PS Move controllers for in-store pick up, but have yet to receive any sort of email notification, not even an order has been placed email. The orders should have went through since it did use up the bonus $5 cert and did save the pick up information for when you have someone else pick it up for you. Entering in the order number also doesn't bring up any results. It also isn't displaying any of my orders from the last year. Did anyone run into this issue too, or is this just me or a systems glitch today?

EDIT: Apparently they confirmed my order, then cancelled it a few minutes after saying my pick up was ready. Guess either someone grabbed the controllers before they could and they sent out the email saying it was ready anyways, or they saw the price and decided to keep it for themselves? OH well. Time to try another location to see if there are any in stock.

I'm playing the downloaded version of Persona 3 Fes on my PS3 Slim and it's working. Maybe it just doesn't work with the older models?

Edit: Actually the PS3 Home Button isn't on, and a second controller would be needed if you want to quit the game.

Thanks OP.

I was able to get a Fusion controller and MS racing wheel at local BB.

Also lucked out that they had a rack for Manager Clearance on a few games; 50%off marked price.  Got Mass Effect Trilogy for $20, on 360, and Sniper Elite 2 for $10 on PS3

Hey any of you guys know how well the Xbox 360 racing wheel that is clearanced works for PC?  Or if it works at all?  I've tried to do some google searches and haven't come up with very good answers.  I know you need the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver thing for PC.  Anyone had any experience with specific games on PC with this wheel?

Was at BB today for other reasons and remembered this thread.

Bought that PowerPak thing for the 3ds for my fiancée.

Bought the Wireless 360 racing wheel for myself.   I have the full sized wheel/pedals set I bought a few years ago for $100 that I've only used a small handful of times but don't have it with me where I'm currently living so this will work.

" I have the 360 wireless wheel and I'd like to trade it for the PS3 move MOTION controller. PM me if you're up for it."

While someone may be interested in doing that, the PS3 wheel is rather difficult to find and has never dropped below $25 at retail stores. I believe that some sellers on ebay have it for around $15 which is a fair price considering how hard it is to get retail.

No, lol. The Motion controller with the glowing bulb.

Xbox wheel for the bulb.

Meh...I'm not really having fun with the move, lol. Sports Champions is bland as fuck. As cheap as it was to assemble all of this together, I'm still not sure it was worth it. All the calibrating and re-calibrating is tiresome. Just not a motion control type of guy, I guess.

Hmm, I want a ps3 fusion controller but I don't want to drive an hour to try to find one. I noticed the price online is $43 and you can get it shipped to your closest store for a in store pick up. I am considering doing this then trying to return and rebuy for a lower clearance price.

Is there any way to check a store for their price without actually being there, I know employees can see last known prices

My store was able to order me one via OMS for the $16 price, but my store knows me so it's YMMV.

Funny thing happened when I went to get mine yesterday. I figured I'd see if they would let me use the GamersClub coupon from the MyRZ site. To my amazement they let me get the controller for $0. They simply zeroed the controller out and sold me it. Was really amazed at that.

I think if a store is about an hour away or is in the same state as you .. u can goto customer service and tell them to order it from that store for you and that store will ship it to your store for pick up... I know sears and other stores do that. I tried doing it at best buy once for a ps vita headphones that were on clearance at a store that was like 50 miles away, and they said they could do it but when they called the store the item was actually out of stock :p..so I guess contact your local store and ask if they have that kind of service..or maybe you can get them to order it to your house for the price which would be even cooler :)

Is anyone else having problems with the fusion where the r1 and L1 buttons don't work correctly. I have to push them really hard it seems.

I actually found a PS3 Fusion at one of my local BBs just today, stopped by just on chance and was shocked that they had one left.  I prefer the 360 style staggered sticks, so I was really happy to find one of these cheap!  Thanks again OP!!

Haha, I'd say that's extremely YMMV. Maybe a regional or district thing. I have about 9 or 10 best buys I my area (each within 45 minutes of each other) and they've never offered to do this, lol.

Had a Wii U Microphone ($7), Afterglow Wii U Pro Controller ($9) and Nyko Power Grip ($3) in my hand tonight, but I didn't end up getting any of them.

Any opinions on them?
