I know 08 isn't over yet, and there's still plenty of great stuff coming this year but I always look ahead to great games. I know a lot doesn't get revealed until E3, but there's still plenty already.

Its been my most looking forward to it game for well over a year, since the very beginning. Its also my most likely candidate for GOTY 2009, at least among the sparse list of games that are known for 2009.

What? It's due out for 2010? Well... that, it's still my most wanted for 2009. That and Starcraft 2, though that one won't be out 'til 2014.

I also want StarCraft 2 next year, as well as Dragon Quest IX, which is confirmed for a 2009 release... in Japan.

That's about it from confirmed releases. I'd be up for stuff like Mass Effect 2 etc. if they are announced.

But that's fine as I'm not getting many fall games this year and will have stuff like Fable 2, Fallout 3, Dead Space etc. to play next year when I get them on sale or off Goozex.

Final Fantasy XIII will probably be the game that finally sells me a next-gen system. At this point I feel like it's more likely to come out in 2010 though. I'm also very excited for Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Arc Rise Fantasia, Sin & Punishment 2, and Phantasy Star Zero.
