what do you guys think? does anyone have experience with this tv? this will be my first hd set, so i'm pretty pumped about it.

Never heard of the brand before. Might be a steaming pile.

Could be a good deal, who knows. Find out who makes the parts.

Keep in mind though, you may be better off buying a more reliable/recognizable brand. If you end up buying 2 tv's because the first one breaks 2 years down the road, you may have been better off in the first place buying a better one, thus spending less than 2 cheaper ones.

Heres another forum with people talking about the model in question.

I purchased it about 5 months ago for the same price, surprisingly great picture, sound and quality. I am very satisfied with it overall. BTW Emprex is Fry's house brand, its nothing more than a stamp. This TV is branded by a few other names as well.
