I just recently bought a Slim, and I recovered my gamertag on the system. I then did a data transfer (with the Microsoft Data Transfer Cable) to transfer my entire 20GB HDD from my old model to the Slim.
Now after completing that every time I tried to log into my profile I get the error message "Your Xbox Live membership information is invalid. Please use a profile that contains valid membership or recover your profile from Xbox Live."
When I attempt to recover again I keep getting the error saying that "Xbox Live sign up is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
During the HDD transfer it did ask me if I wanted to replace profile: blazsox with the one that was already on the HDD (because I recovered my GT earlier), and I did hit Yes. I am guessing that is what caused this issue.
So my question is how do I go about getting rid of this error message and being able to access my profile on my new 360 Slim.
Thanks for the help.
