Probably because this is the UK section of CAG and Zavvi's a UK based site. :cool:
 
I ordered the Fable 2 GOTY Ed. My has it already but it was cheap so I figured I'd get my own copy. And I already have tons of games to play through already... :(

I had no idea Zavvi did deals as good as that, some of those are pretty awesome.

Red Dead Redemption looks awesome too ;)
 
I picked up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition for £8 when it was first released! I traded in Bioshock 2 and got a student discount, good times. :D

sorry but that is not an excuse enough!
many users around here are from mainland europe, and still it's a standard game: it would kill no one shipping it out to EU, doesn't it?

Some semi-decent deals but I'm waiting for price drops on Splinter Cell and/or Fifa World Cup. Seems strange there hasn't been any drops on a FIFA game, usually at least one outlet succumbs...
 
Mm, I just picked up Napoleon TW: Imperial Edition from Game for £3 less, but otherwise some quite nice deals. =)

(Also, looking forward to Red Dead Redemption)
 
Guess I don't have to wait for the GOW games to come down in price now...

I just won the God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition, signed by the developers, in a contest over at eurogamer.se. :)
 
Erm, I tried the Section 8 demo and I was completely bored by it. Is the full game any better? I've seen it down at a fiver a few times.
One thing I will say - Battlefield Bad Company 2 is definitely worth that price IMO

No, it's a perfectly acceptable excuse. Zavvi are giving something away for free here, they get to decide the terms under which they give it away.

They could limit the entrants to people named Steve who live in a house/flat with an odd number and you still wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
