Seriously, why are folks still complaining about it? It's not new for Capcom at all to be doing this.

Also if you play game X competitively, you will buy it no matter what. If you don't? Who cares, kick back and get whatever version you want.

Even casually it's not that bad. It's usually over a year apart and comes out at $40 for a new disc release. Sometimes they'll go the AE route and make the entire update $15 or go the BBCS2 route and make the rebalancing free, but the chars DLC. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. I mean, shit, I saw people bitching about VF5FS and asking why it's not a free update.

To be fair, those People bitching about Virtua fighter 5 are Street Fighter fans. Actual Virtua Fighter fans are just happy that it's COMING here due to Sega trollzamaing that series to basically Japan only.
 
Did OK earlier today in Marvel with Iron Fist-Y, Task-A, Doom-B. Lost 2 in a row so I switched to Iron Fist-Y, Cap-A, Doom-B.

Still re-learning the game and getting hit by new shit, but hopefully I'll be at a competitive level soon enough.

Franky, we have to play again soon when I have my mic set-up.... that way you can explain everything you're doing and I can get a feel for how to block it all.

Many of the setups got a "WTF is happening" reaction during and after a tournament I played in on Thursday (tied for 5th!). It was my first UMVC3 tourney and I need to stop dropping all of my stuff haha

I agree with the mashing on UMVC3 when it comes to Wesker. Last night I was playing a friend at a session and Wesker XF LVL3 did like the most dumbest shit and blew through my entire team. I had two friends playing Wesker (one with Strider Varja Assist) and it was getting me so salty. At one point I looked at him and I'm like, "Are you just headbutting your stick and winning?"

The most recent tournament I was in where teams had Wesker, I either snapped him in to tear him up or Dorm/Sent were going every which way to where they didn't know what way to block and Wesker never got anything going. Against my friend? I let that guy live and he came back to haunt me.
