That's one big budget cast:

- Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique)
- Hugh Jackman (Wolverine)
- Halley Berry (Storm)
- Michael Fassbender (Eric Lensher)
- James McAvoy (Charles Xavier)
- Ellen Page (Shadow Cat)
- Anna Paquin (Rogue)
- Daniel Cudmore (Colossus)
- Shawn Ashmore (Ice Man)
- Patrick Stewart (Professor X)
- Ian McKellan (Magneto)

Will be directed by the original Bryan Singer himself.

This is one giant X-Men film.

o_O Never read the original comic, so I assume this is a time travel movie, unless all the pre-First Class actors are going to have extended cameos. Especially considering Iceman is a long way from being born and Storm was a child in First Class.

This will be either a fantastic adaptation of a beloved comic arc or one of the worst train wrecks in comic movie history. That said, I'm hopeful it will be amazing.

I also believe I read something recently about Alan Cummings returning to play Nightcrawler. And then you forgot to mention that Peter Dinklage is involved and is playing the unannounced main supervillain.

This should be called Xmen Reunion.
Is Peter dinklage the midget in that hbo show?
Lol yeah, hes tyrion lannister in game of thrones, he's awesome. He was also in elf very briefly.
This should be called Xmen Reunion.
But if you called it that then you wouldn't grab the attention of classic fans as well!
What?! No Will.I.Am coming back?! NO DEAL, MARVEL! NO DEAL!
Part of me is really curious if the addition of Azazel (Nightcrawler's canonical bio father from the comics) in First Class is going to affect the canonicity of the Wolverine game since they state that Will I Am is Nightcrawler's dad in that.

Or Will.I.Am and Azazel had the baby together and one of them had a secondary mutation of growing facial hair to look like a man (you decide who) and thus Nightcrawler was born.

Then again X-Men: Origins: Wolverine being canon is up in the air still since Emma Frost and Sabertooth are looking and acting a slight bit different then when you see them in First Class and X1 respectively. That and Storm being seen in the 60's as a child in First Class and again in Wolverine as a child (albeit in a deleted scene) in the late 70's or 80's or whatever. Though if they take away Wolverine: Origin then I'll never know how Wolverine got that sweet leather jacket or Indian head belt buckle...

This was all so awesome that we really must be friends.

And I enjoy Ellen Paige in her one piece of work that I love her in (Super), but goddamn that picture within a picture of her makes her look like Ozzy Osbourne.

At least now I know someone else who is hoping that Wolverine II explains how Logan got that magical wifebeater. ONLY THEN WILL I BE SATISFIED!

Origins was pretty clearly declared non-canon by First Class.

Anyone else surprised they went to the trouble of bringing back the actors who played Shadowcat and Colussus from Last Stand? They weren't exactly exactly vital parts.

Seeing as how there apparently is no Scott or Jean, this is going to take place after Last Stand I assume, making me wonder how they will address Xavier asploding.

Didn't watch the after credits scene from X3 I assume?

You didn't turn off the TV in disgust or storm out of the theater as soon as the credits hit? Those seem to be the general normal response from people after seeing it.
Normal people just couldn't handle how great it was.
X4 directed and written by Brett Ratner featuring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker as Artie and Leech.

First in line.

I'm afraid Singer is more interested in bringing back the original actors who he helped get hired than making a good movie. I sure hope I'm wrong, but as with previous X movies that shall remain unmentioned, cramming in too many characters isn't a good thing for a fluid storyline.

This will be rather interesting, most of the actors weren't really the problems with the other movies and I thought a majority of them did a good job, so seeing some of them from both of the groups join together will be neat. But I agree that this could easily go either way.

DOFP is storyline that involves a lot of xmen, so it would make sense for more characters.

So, let me get this straight, since this is a reboot, they had a chance to get a new storm, and they cast that shitty half-baked lady who only gets work, because she's hot, as her, again? (yeah, I know that's opinion, but she was a terrible storm)

IIRC, the creators have said this isn't a reboot.

Besides, they are getting back everybody from the previous films, even characters that only had a few scenes.
So judging from that picture, it looks like the actresses that played Emma Frost & Mystique in First Class will be back for this too.
Yeah the OP has Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique, listed as part of the cast. Besides McAvoy and Fassbender, I believe she was one of the first people they confirmed as casted for the movie. But the picture for the woman who played Emma Frost is not on there.

No SPOILERS please. But for someone who hasn't read the book(s), this is all an alternate/possible future, right? So it's the First Class gen vs. the Original Trilogy gen, correct? That's all I wanna know! Thanks. :)

Considering his body has adaptation, and I've read that he "adapted" and supposedly died at least 3 times in the comics, yes, I think he is

Who's the Black man in the picture?

NVM, didn't read the second page. cool if it's the guy from first class cause I thought his exit was lame.
Well judging from the picture we're getting Darwin back!
Am I the only person with decent vision in this thread? Unless they're using a different actor to play the role, that's not Darwin. The actor pictured there is Omar Sy, his character is unknown at this point, and he wasn't previously in First Class.

As a fan of the Darwin character, I was really annoyed with
how they killed him off in First Class given how his powers worked.
So I wouldn't mind seeing him return if that's the case.
Just have the movie start at the end of part two. Who ever comes back in time comes to warn them how bad Last Stand is (was.)
lol well played

So they're making the X-Men 3 movie I wanted.

With Jackman and Berry on board I hope it doesn't become another "The Adventures of Wolverine and Storm" movie.

Don't you mean Adventures of Wolverine while Storm stands behind him looking sternly at no one in particular?
You know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else.
It disappears for the next 2 movies?
So will cable be in this movie? I hope Channin tatum plays him
If Cable is in the movie, I highly doubt he will be a Summers kid for obvious reasons.

It will probably bleed into a third part, but I doubt it will be a Part 1/Part 2 deal. Will probably be a normal trilogy.

Looking good!

Btw, you don't need html tags to embed the video in your post if that's what you were trying to do. You can just paste the url and it'll do it automatically. Looks like CAG 3.0 went through some fixes and activated some new features.

I think it looks awesome, really looking forward to this.  I'm kind of glad they didn't show off any action sequences, I think trailers show way too much nowadays.

They didn't cast a different wolverine for his younger version doe
There's no reason to. Due to Wolverine's healing factor, he ages differently than other people/mutants. But you can clearly see that the older version has some gray in his hair and is supposed to seem like an older Wolverine.

You can't use the M word with marvel movies dawg. I didn't know he had a healing factor. Are his claws part of his mutation?
