Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition - Xbox 360, $9.99 at Best Buy

Haven't played it personally but if I remember correctly the reviews weren't so good for the game.

Anyone with a first hand take in it?
It's worse than the one that came out a couple years ago. Wasn't really good. I might pick it up for cheaper on black Friday.

I bought it for PC at $6 and its not worth it. The SP campaing is really really bad, super short, confusing, boring and repetitive. It sucks. MP is mediocre and a lot of games, like BF3, are much much better.

Really wish this game would hit $5 before the multiplayer is completely dead..
Good luck with that. Even if there are people still playing, the #s will be so few that the connections are most likely laggy. Unless you're really lucky and get to play with people who live close to you....

It's definitely not a bad game - got a really bad rap in the review circles though.

I had a $5 gift card I had to use so I picked it up again. The worst part by far are how horrible the menus are but it is a fun game.

Wow that bad? I though the first one's SP was pretty good.. it had a couple pretty epic fire fights. I considered it at this price, but if it's even worse.. I'll just save my money lol

The first one was good. Campaign and multiplayer-wise (albeit, multiplayer could've used more maps and some tweaks, but had good concepts and reasonably fun...).

MoH: Warfighter plays like it was made by a rookie team of game developers. No memorable moments from campaign; as bland as plain white bread. Multiplayer: laggy, menu system confusing, controls not all that responsive, horrible maps (tons of ridiculous choke points and camping spots) except for a couple.

I thought the single player for Warfighter was decent fun and worth the $10.xx I paid.  There are a couple of interesting driving missions that you don't usually see in a shooter like this.  I would compare it to Battlefield 3 single player, which I liked as well (my EA friend who worked on BF3 said I might have overly lenient standards for FPS when I told him this, lol).  I thought there was a weird disconnect between reviewers ripping Warfighter for being merely derivative but then giving it the kind of scores reserved for BAD games.  Only played a few minutes of multiplayer before getting drawn back into BF3 so can't comment on that.

I had forgotten about those driving missions.
You're right, they were very good. I kind of want to play through some of these levels again.

I played SP on this and it wasn't very captivating to keep my attention.  Save the $10 for a game you really want over a game you might like.

LOl, you people who buy military shooters looking for a special single player campaign experience are just wasting money. these games are only good for mindless fps online multiplayer fun.

I didn't think the gameplay was too bad: the shooting mechanics feel good, and unlike the previous MoH, the AI wasn't so dumb that I could just run around each battlefield shotgunning them at close range. The MP is a real by-the-book affair, so don't expect any interesting modes, but it's definitely not an awful experience.

That said, it's another typical military shooter: the single player campaign is going to funnel you through ultra-linear levels while you sit through plenty of scripted moments where things come barreling towards you, and of course there will be turret sections. If you didn't like that before, you won't like it now. I don't quite understand how this game got blasted while Black Ops 2 wowed reviewers; quite frankly I think the whole genre has become stale.

So, not exactly a terrible price at $10, but it certainly does seem to be lingering around this price range already so it might be worthwhile to see if you can find it cheaper or possibly used since EA dropped their online pass requirements.

the campaign lasts about 6 hours, it's basically a COD campaign. not really worth a replay. note that it does "guarantee access to BF4 beta" so if you love battlefield like me, it might be worth it.

I hated the online, and doubt anyone plays it anymore.
