Best Buy - Wii Kirby's Return To Dreamland $29.99 - PS3 Prototype 2 Blackwatch CE $19.99 - PS3 Skylanders Spyro Adventure Starter Pack $19.99

I think this is the first time I've seen Kirby on sale. Tempting, but with all these other games I've bought recently I suppose I can afford to wait longer... if it does eventually drop more, that is.

I want Kirby, but…. $15 or less preferably. I can certainly keep waiting.

I had the same idea as both of you, but, when I checked a few days ago, I realized that no store around me stocks this game any more. There used to be random copies sitting around at Fry's, Target, Walmart, etc., but I literally can't find it anywhere. Amazon is sold out as well. If you check around your area and there is still stock, then maybe it's a good idea to wait out a price drop or see if there's a reprint. I don't have as much time to follow the deal sites as I used to, so I'm jumping on it now. Just wanted to bring it up in case anyone else is in the same situation. I don't think it's ever gone on sale for lower than this amount at a national retailer, either.

Thanks for the heads up, OP!

not to offend you or anything, the games you listed has been on sale for a month already. it is listed under the category of "Clearance" on bestbuy.com

This is an instance where my urge to grab the collector's edition of a game for a cheap price is put off by my lack of interest in the game itself.

While I would pick up Prototype 2 at a cheap enough price ($8 or so), I don't consider this a particularly good CE either. Plus, most of the ones I've seen in stores have been damaged by those spiderlock things.

Thanks OP, grabbed Kirby Wii. Been looking to pick it up for awhile, this is probably the lowest I've seen it in some time.

I usually don't hesitate to buy a CE at 20 bucks, but I didn't realize this was just full of art books and shit. Gonna pass up since I ended up getting the game itself from them for like 5 bucks a year ago.

Kirby is finally mine. Thanks OP!

It's OOP and getting fairly hard to find so anyone pining for it, this is probably the cheapest it will ever be.

Really want Kirby, but after buying 2 Fire Emblems, NSLU, Mario 64, Dynasty Warriors, and EOU, I think I should stop.

I'll think about it. I flip a lot and spent nothing out of pocket for any of that, and still have enough left for Kirby and then some.

Do you really think so? I was hoping it'd eventually be $20 somewhere. I do want the game, but I've spent so much already in the past week...

Bought Kirby.  Thanks OP!

I guess buying Kirby is almost like buying Xenoblade at this point.  Kirby is out of print (I think) and out of stock pretty much everywhere else.  Gamestop has some scattered pre-owned copies.  New/sealed copies are selling on Ebay and Amazon for well above the MSRP price of $49.99.

That's the same issue with me as well. Normally I would wait for a cheaper price, but they're all gone everywhere (none of the best buy stores in my area even stock it), as it's only available for shipping. I'm reluctantly getting it now and you're probably right about the price, unless there's a reprint.

Wow! Didn't know Kirby is OOP.  I'll pick up few copies & sale on Amazon for $60 a piece.  Just don't feel like ripping peoples off like gamestop ;) lol

Every retail outlet in my area is cleared out of them, except maybe a random Kmart (haven't been there in a month, so IDK if it's still there). My TRU did have a few but some jagoff poached all of the copies during the B1G40% sale.

Even if you don't have GCU and need to pay for shipping, this is the cheapest it will ever be (barring a random Selects release, which at this point is highly unlikely).

i didn't realize that kirby was OOP, after GCU and $5 RC total came to $20.20. might try buying another one.

thanks op and everyone else for the news. I didn't realize Kirby was oop so I picked one up for shipping just inn case it becomes like xenosaga or metroid trilogy

I decided to pick up a copy of Kirby because this is the lowest I've ever seen it and newegg and amazon seem to not have copies left. They're going for like $60 bucks from other sellers on there.

Would anyone recommend the Skylanders Starter Pack for $19.99? I see Amazon matched it a few hours ago, still debating if worth it (I have no kids, more interested in trying the whole skylanders ordeal).

Was on the fence about Kirby, but everyone's posts have convinced me that I should grab one now while I have the opportunity. It's a decent deal w/ GCU even if it wasn't OOP. Thanks fellow CAGers!

For $20 it is likely the cheapest way outside of buying used to test if you'll enjoy the game.

I tried to buy Kirby (clicked finalize) and nothing happened. Checked my email and it says I am being charged but I didn't get the order confirmation email. Tried re-ordering and got charged AND this time the confirmation email. Best Buy.com only shows under the "orders" section 1 Kirby order yet I paid twice....any advice? :/

Yeah, Kmart is probably one of the few places that may still carry it. It might even be on their clearance schedule by now, but I wouldn't want to risk waiting for it to drop in price.

Had to bite on $30 Kirby.  As others have mentioned, it's OOP, $80 new/$70 used on Amazon, $45 at Walmart.com (OOS), and only 2 out of maybe 20 Best Buys in my area have it in stock.  Luckily one is about 10 minutes from my house.  My kids loved Epic Yarn and Dream Collection (ok, I did too), so this will make a nice joint Xmas gift for them. :)

Why should he be offended? If anything it puts you in a negative light cause you knew about these and didn't post it. He actually took the time to post the deals. And I'm glad he did, cause I didn't know about them and I've been waiting for a very long time for Dreamland. Last time Best Buy had it on sale for 29.99 it was sold pout around me. Now I get it for $24

Kirby Return to Dreamland is a fantastic game, my sons absolutely loved it and the four player option is great. The only problem is the first player is considered the "main" player and it treats him as the special person that has to survive or you go back to the checkpoint. The mega tranforms are nuts. Given this is OOP and a Nintendo game, don't expect to find it going lower, it'll be like Metroid Trilogy.

Kirby isn't new, it has been that price since Black Friday at least, because I noticed it that night and ordered it with my Black Friday stuff. It was out of stock online at the time but one local store had copies.

As others have said, its OOP and getting very hard to find. Is another printing impossible? No, but we're to the point where it isn't all that likely, if you want it, now is the time to grab it.

Jumped for Kirby, considering that it's available nowhere around me in any store, it's probably out of print. 29.99 is a good price, considering it's status is close to Metroid Trilogy, which I picked up on Black Friday.

the reason i did not post, was someone already posted this already.

damn looks like kirby is oos for shipping. It was available 15 minutes ago when I had it in my cart too. Didn't think it would sell out so fast.
