Ebay Deal of the Day.

FE: TSS is BRAND NEW, OOP, RARE, HTF, and should be advertised as LQQP!!!!!!!!!!

Although it should be subtitled as clearanced at Target for < $10. Maybe they added one-too-many "9" digits.

I'd say this is more like 'how to throw away your money on eBay listing fees.'

There's probably a chance either of those would sell, but not much of one. I don't think it would happen often enough to justify the insertion fee you have to pony up. If eBay didn't charge an insertion fee, crap like that would make up 80%+ of all listings. So there is some good even out of insertion fees.

I'm guessing that Fire Emblem was supposed to be $9.99... it's cool though, since he can still change his price unless... someone bids.

Also, didn't the 3 BK games sell for a lot just a while ago? Like, $45 for all three (because people are stupid)?

lol local target has stock of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones with the clearance sticker price of $14.99

I sent the Fire Emblem a message asking if $99 was the price he's looking to get for the game, or if there was an error in the listing.

Seriously? That's very silly. I'd rather buy 100 for $125.

And great point about the listing fees, Wubb.

Yep! I just got a copy for about $8, still sealed, w/ Google Checkout :)
From the BK auction: "edicion limited-collection is exelente.-shipment package to the all word."

What does that even mean?
It means the lister of the auction didn't get past 8th grade.

It means he is the cook.

He's only selling it because you Americans are too lazy to sell it yourself.

Immigrant worker reference there...
I'm not quite model material, but I try anyway.
BAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I would NOT buy a shirt knowing a guy like that wore it, that just looks dirty. You can see the chest hair protruding out of the top of the shirt o_O

As for the Fire Emblem, I don't see why he could've just revised the listing and changed the price there to an auction of $0.99

He just wasted $3 on listing fees for nothing >.>

"Shipment Package to the all word"...FTW!!!!

Bump for a new oddity. Longest description I've ever come across. (See the OP link.)

Honestly, this description could be marketed as a sedative or sleep inducer.

Guys got only 2 negs out of 5200 or so. Impressive.
Guys got only 2 negs out of 5200 or so. Impressive.
Absolutely. He's obviously a good seller. The write up could be tidied up a bit though.

Unless the idea is to lull your reader into a gentle slumber somewhere between the initial item description and the "bid now" button at the bottom. ;)

I think the guy just likes to see himself type. I know you use the same template over and over again for auctions, but damn. Who reads all that in his auction? If you saw his auction for the first time right when its about to end, either you bid without reading all the terms or you read all that and run out of time. A lot of bidders search by "auctions ending soon" and that is just way too much trivial wording for an auction. Keep it simple. Well he does have good feedback, so it works for him. I think I'll type my auction up to include how I take my pics, what I wear to type the auction, what car I drive to go to the post office, how many times a day I am on ebay to answer questions, what camera is used to take pics, how many feet of tape I use to package the items..... and on and on like this post! hahahaha! :)
