Need to hide some drug money spreadsheets on a game console? NBC's Life shows you how

it was retarded...prior to that when they were asking the computer guy if he could play it, the computer guy went on a tirade covering the basic sterotypical gamer that he was.

What the hell is that show supposed to be? And how long is it going to take before people understand wtf video games are? It's been like 30 fucking years.
how exactly do you put a spread sheet on an already burned disc?
rip the game to an iso, unpack the iso, use an .xbe editor to edit the default.xbe file, do some fancy programming shit to put the files in there, then recompile the iso, burn it, voila!

So much wrong with that video besides the object not being to save farah and there not being levels in Two Thrones.

Still, I do feel like playing that game now
Remember folks, a console is "just a harddrive with games on it".
They were using a modded xbox to play a pirated game. Call the cops!

Oh no, they had drug spreadsheets hidden in Prince of Persia, some one call Jack Thompson! "Hot Drugs hack"

So if I buy the Xbox version and get to level 10 will I find the spreadsheet? Those Ubisoft people sure are sneaky.

Did anyone else read that title, and assume the OP meant that The Today Show had an piece about how "Your kids may be using their Xbox 360 to hide their drug money spreadsheets! Get rid of their console NOW!"?

OK, seriously - have we completely run out of ideas? Do we have to stoop to ripping off Cloak and Dagger - a movie that was equally stupid, but at least I was too young at the time to know any better?

What's next, the War Games episode of CSI?

This is why I'm glad writers aren't working on any TV shows right now. This is also irrefutable proof that writers don't deserve the raise they want.

Actually csi new york had an episode about some murderer in Second Life that killed real people.

The dumbass should've hid his files in Chicago Enforcer. The cops probably aren't desperate enough to play that shit just to bust one lousy drug dealer.

Having read some of your posts in the Gaming OTT, I'm going to guess your wife is happy when she finds something that's "merely porn".
I have no idea what you're talking about. All those girls were over 18...
Actually csi new york had an episode about some murderer in Second Life that killed real people.
And, I remember CSI Miami being centered around a GTA-clone where the whole episode was with the CSIs trying to "get to the next levels" to find out what the next crime will be, because the killers copied the game.

I remember they even asked "The creator of the game", but he wouldn't tell them what was next for whatever reason. Apparently, nobody else has ever gotten that far on the game, so the CSI Miami people had to do it.
Ow, ow, ow. Television? Movies? New rule, guys. No portraying videogames until at least one person involved with the production has played something post-Pac Man.
NCIS should be qualified...

That was hilarious. ZOMG,.... I'm short $50, and Chad is coming over to collect,.... let me check my drug money spreadsheet. Now,.. all I have to do is get to level 10!!

I WIN !!!

Bonus Up!!
Those are professional actors?

Really?
Yeah, I was wondering the same exact thing. Seriously if I didn't know better I'd think these people were braindead.
Those are professional actors?

Yea, I hate seeing Damian Lewis (Major Winters from Band of Brothers) in something so lame. Oh well.
Those are professional actors?

They weren't acting, THIS IS HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE DUDE!!!

No no no. You need to hack into the data matrix and use an algorithm to layer the computer files on top of the system data.

Wow that was bad, I was wondering if that show was any good and this confirms it for me. I never need to waste a second on it, thanks op.
