Dualshock 3 at CC $49.99 YMMV

I got the dualshock 3 at CC in Burlington, MA for $49.99. All of the boxes had price stickers on them that said $54.99, but the tags on the hooks that they were hanging on clearly read Dualshock for PS3 $49.99.
The controller rang in as $54.99, but I showed the cashier the tag and she didn't hesitate to change it to $49.99

Tuesday night at my CC the DS3's were on the old racks for the Sixaxis with price stickers for $49.99. I should have bought them then because when I went back today they were seperated properly for $50/$55 respectively.

this is most likely no where else... the price was a mistake and this really isn't a YMMV, it is more of a $49.99 in the CC @ Burlington, MA
 
You can get it for $50 at any Circuit City or Best Buy right now (price match against Walmart which is selling for $50). Picked mine up at CC tongiht.
 
price was marked at 49.99 so I didn't have to PM, even though I heard the manager say to remark to the checker, then I used the $15 off $100 coupon that came out a week or so ago. OTD for only $84.99. Also, check EB and they are only trading in the old ones for $15, so I might hang on to all four for a while.

I know what he meant. I was just hoping to have similar fortune --- Which I did today at my local Target. $49.99 label on the shelf - $54.99 at the register. Clerk adjusted the price without so much as a second glance. Love it!
 
I had the same scenario as the original poster at the Circuit City in Horseheads, N.Y. It was clearly marked $49.99 underneath the controllers, it rang up at $54.99, then I showed her the $49.99 price and she gave me that price.
