Test Your Gaming Knowledge

87%. The fact that I got the old questions but not the WOW questions just shows that I can't tolerate MMOs.

87% which is better than I thought, and sad that I know so much. Why, oh why should I know the developer of Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure?

76%... Stupid people and your love of Japanese games...

I hate the wrong answer sound... I'm gonna have nightmares about it.

*added* Ah, no fair. There are different questions every time you play. AND who the F knows about Alex Kidd?!

79%

And it definitely asks everyone different stuff. I didn't get any WoW or Battlefield questions, for example. But I got a ton of Smash Bros ?s for some reason.

This.

Same question set (3+ Smash Bros. questions for me) and exact same score.

77% first try.

I thought I was going to outnerd myself a bit more than that...but still it still warrants hardcore...so I'm cool. I'm probably as much as a game nerd as the 80%+ people, it's just I tend to play really weird games, like the one in my avatar for example!

Nothing weird about "Jet Set Radio (radio radio)".

I got a 100% on the third try. It was partially due to luck, since I guessed a couple like the stupid question about what Battlefield gun was on-screen.

I am a Gaming God. And the message referred to me as a chap.
I'm pretty sure getting a 100% makes you more of a loser than a god.
I got like a 69%. Does that make me cool?

I think the quiz isn't exactly testing gaming knowledge, as much as digging up extremely random facts and trying to stump you.

But it was entertaining, hence the reason I posted it. :)

83%. fuck you too, Warcraft.
74% - Guessed on some questions, and realized too late what the correct answers to others were (the iQue and Suda 51 ones).
Didn't get the Suda question...

I don't mean weird in a negative way. I mainly use that word for describing all the good things in life, but you have to admit there aren't many games even remotely like JSR. It's incredibly vibrant and Japanesey.

None of my current gamer friends have any real grasp on what the game is. That could be due to the different style, horrible marketing, debuting on the unpopular system in the case of the JSR and DC, or being released on the completely wrong console in the case of JSRF and xbox.

The only reason I played JSRF was because I got it free with the system. I liked it alot though.
I'm surprised people didn't get the Suda 51 question. His real name means Suda 51 in Japanese lol.
No, I mean I don't think they even asked me the question.

Indeed. Looks like my 66% is tied for lowest thus far.

First time I've every been proud to have a low test score. :D
dmaul, are you ashamed to be a gamer?

Because almost every post you make these days seems to say so...
A gamer? No. But I'm glad to not be a hardcore gamer. I have zilch in common with that crowd aside from some interest in games (on vastly different levels).

That's the main reason I don't shop at Gamestop and other game stores, just can't stand the crowd (staff and clientele).

I don't mean that in a demeaning way--different strokes for different folks. But that doesn't mean you have to like associating with every clique of people in society.

Liking games a lot doesn't automatically make you some kind of degenerate though. I just see your posts, and it's like your caging up your inner hardcore gamer to fit in with others. Personally I've found that being honest with my likes and dislikes has gotten me better friends. Some are hardcore and some don't know dip about games, but they're all nice people I can relate to and enjoy.

I can see which part of the hardcore crowd is unappealing like all groups, but don't let that immature bunch prevent you from being yourself.
