As mentioned in the GameStop pricedrop thread, the You're In The Movies bundle with Live Vision Cam dropped from $39.99 to $19.99 at GameStop. Price is updated on GameStop's website, and should be live at B&M locations in the morning.

Didn't see it posted before, but the camera by itself is already $39.99 - jump on this, and you're getting $20 off of the camera and a free game to boot.

that's a good price. The lowest I've seen the camera any place is 20 bucks. So the free "game" on top of that makes this a pretty good deal.

Great deal for an okay game. To maximize your experience make sure you play with alot of light and make sure your background is just a blank wall, preferably white.

What can the Live Vision camera be used for besides this game, Burnout Paradise, video chatting, and gamer pics? EDIT: Nevermind, I found the support list on Wikipedia.

What's its compatibility on the PS3 besides video chatting?

Wow, that's a big price drop. It's always strange when game+accesory bundles are sold for less than the individual accessory itself. Might pick it up for the Vision cam (I really can't see myself enjoying the "game" for more than a few minutes).

Surprised at how many games seem to support in-game video chat on it. How does it actually work in those games? I know for Uno and the like it just shows the camera in your part of the screen, but how would it use the video support for C&C3 or V8 Arcade?

Otherwise it sounds like a nice little gimmick, almost want to get it just to see how the face mapping works in R6 Vegas.

Also, the vision camera works great as a web cam for my pc. No drivers or anything needed. You just need your own microphone/headset for voice.

If you already have a Vision Cam, I'd recommend you NOT buy this as the in game character detection is terrible. You'll be a broken up white blur half the time. What fun that could have been had is ruined by technical issues.

But if you don't own a Vision Cam, then this is definitely a deal for $20.

Also for other gamers out there, BestBuy also has this marked down to $19.99. And this should NOT be a YMMV, it is a nationwide price drop for BB and GS apparently.

I bought this at Target a month or so ago when it was $29.99 and I thought I was getting a deal then. I played You're In the Movies once with my wife and we enjoyed it for what it was. I had to change my clothes to something that wouldn't match my background, but other than that, the detection wasn't terrible. The end video result was hokey and great. I can't see myself convincing three other people to play this with me, though, so chances are I'll barely play this. I don't think I've tried using the camera for anything else but I'm sure it'll come in handy eventually.

This was essentially my experience. Although, we did have 2 other people play it with my wife and I.

The game has not middle ground as it runs a little long and if you play more than 1 in a sitting, you're going to get the same mini games.

For those of us who already own the camera. Here's the last reported TIV.

Live Vision Camera - $8.25 (3/10/09)

So you can open it on the spot, and walk out with the game-only for $12.

The question is if it is worth it or not! I wonder what the TIV for the game is, you could walk away with the camera for $15 or so...
Does the game w/ camera also include a headset like the regular Vision Camera package?
It does not include a headset.

Dang, wish I had waited to buy this. The game didn't work too well in my living room, with the dark brown walls. I want to try it out over at my brother's, or I may just talk him into buying it.

I just picked up my copy for $20. Thanks OP, this is a great deal. I've wanted to try this out ever since they showed it at E3, and this price is as good as it is going to get with the camera.

Just picked it up. I heard it was fun from a coworker who's pretty hardcore into GH/RB and also plays FPSes and the like. I'll probably flip the camera to end up with the game for like $5.

I still want a live vision, because of burnout paradise.
This is the best (cheapest) way to get one I guess.
Too bad the game isn't worth anything as a trade in anywhere.
Has anyone actually gone to a BB or GS to confirm this drop?
I posted about it dropping last night and went in and picked it up this morning. Still marked at $39.99 but it rang up for 19.99.

At about 1 today I was shocked to see the placards already updated.

Yes...but those Live Vision bundles with the 12-month cards and headsets and arcade codes were on clearance at TRU last year. ;)

Played the game over at my brother's house last night. In better lighting with lighter-colored walls, the camera does a much better job. We had fun (stupid fun, but fun nonetheless) doing a movie, and even my 2 year old nephew was able to play.
