Let's post here about the concerts CAGs are going to or talk about how concerts we've been to this summer were. Please refrain from bashing anyone's musical tastes if you can. It might be cool to see how bands or artists have looked starting out on tours and compare them to later shows, or give advice for those attending the bigger festivals coming up.

As for me, I just saw No Doubt and Paramore with my gf and some friends last Friday 6/19 near Buffalo, NY. Both bands were incredible live, No Doubt in particular was awesome and looks to be at the peak of their career if you can believe it. They said there were about 17,000 fans there. I had lawn seats which were perfectly fine, I could see everything and the sound was great.

I'm going to see The Offspring and Dropkick Murphys next Tuesday 6/30 in Canandaigua (near Rochester) at a smaller venue.

I have already got my tickets to go see the Warped Tour in San Antonio on July 2nd. However, my car just broke down recently, so everything is kind of up in the air. I really hope I get to go though.

I am also hoping to see Reel Big Fish at the end of July in Austin. But I will need to see if I can get enough money together for a ticket.

Went to both nights of Dave Matthews Band at Saratoga NY. Night one was decent, but night 2 just completley blew everything out of the water. Best show I've ever seen.

Heading out to Mansfield MA for a Jimmy Buffett concert this weekend. Not a huge fan of the music, but my parents have been going for 10 years and the parking lot scene is crazy. Always wanted to check that out.

Dave concert again in Syracuse in early August at the baseball stadium - tickets on the field. That should be a great time. Hopefully we get up toward the front.

Thats about it. I might check out OAR at Saratoga if I can get cheap enough tickets. Lil' Wayne is going to be there too surprisingly, but I'm not in to his music that much. Should be interesting to see him perform in that small venue though.

Budge - whens that Reel Big Fish concert? I'm planning on an August visit with my mom, that would be kind of cool to look into.

I might go see the Eagles of Death Metal again at Lupo's in Providence in August. And then Autolux at the Paradise in Boston in September. But I don't have tickets to either, yet.

I also kind of want to go to Rock The Bells, but I have no one to go with and I'm probably better off saving my $50.

Because of my partner in crime not being able to go (and money) I've missed Testament and Summer Slaughter Fest (which is today). Though off hand I've only seen Nine Inch Nails|Jane's Addiction Tour. I May go Warped Tour for shits n giggles, but August 31st Anthrax with Slipknot will be here so I'll definetly be there.

Went to see Slipknot with Trivium and Coheed & Cambria. Awesome show!!! Now looking for Metallica's concert, already got the tickets!

Actually I'm thinking about seeing Blink 182 in August. They are playing at Darien Lake, which is only an hour away but the next week they are playing in Toronto with Weezer and Taking Back Sunday. They have Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco opening at the earlier date. I think I would rather just wait and make the longer drive b/c I'd love to see Weezer live.

Yea, there was no way I was going to see FOB and PatD at Hershey. I'm glad I decided to drive half an hour more and wait for Weezer/TBS. Not to mention Chester French.

July 28th. Reel Big Fish is playing with The English Beat and Supervillains at a pretty cool joint called La Zona Rosa. I think it would be awesome to see them there because it is a real small venue.

Here's my list:

7/8 The Fiery Furnaces
7/20 Torche
7/25 The Dead Weather
7/28 Yeah Yeah Yeahs
8/6 Silversun Pickups
8/7 Silversun Pickups or Clutch & Baroness
8/11 Giant Squid & Grayceon
9/21 Kate Havnevik

La Zona Rosa is actually relatively large, and expensive, compared to other venues in town.

Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, Fireworks, and more coming to a venue near you...come out and say hello!

Really? I have never been there to see a concert, just stopping by for food, but it seemed to be kind of small compared to others. But I agree with you about it being expensive.
