There is nothing wrong with helping, but it would be more helpful if at least you gave an effort to try and make sure it wasn't already posted. You even said it yourself, you didn't even try to use the search. I never use the search myself either, but I at least flip through the first few pages to see if it was already posted and then post it once I make sure there isn't a duplicate thread. At least give some effort.
