Why is this site so broken?

Sorry, I'm about to rant. I'm ranting because I think this site is a brilliant idea with tons of potential, but it's only 70% of what it could be.

For a start, the navigation is terrible, the layout confusing, but worst of all: It doesn't even work properly.

For example: Go to the Price Tracker section. You see "Beatles: Rock Band: Limited Edition Bundle" for (an awesome) £89.99. You click on the "Prices" link and the site tells you: "We don't have any price data for this game at the moment. Check back soon!"

What??

I uploaded a price for Far Cry 2 (£9.99) last week. It's still in the deals section and correctly linked to the game itself, but if you search for Far Cry 2 on the site it says that the best price is actually £10.97... What?? Totally wrong price? How many other prices are wrong, then?

The primary function of this site is to let the user find the latest and best prices for games... but it can't do that :(

This is a huge shame because this site is an awesome idea, and clearly well thought out. Come on, guys. Get this thing working properly and it'll probably become worth a shedload of money!

You can do it!
 
There's no price data right now because we've been having server problems for the past few days.

You just so happen to join at a time where the server was having problems recently, so just to let you know now, it actually works just fine thank you very much.

I get this when I try to view my own (and tested again, I get the same result with your profile):

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /usr/home/cheapas/public_html/forums/member.php(521) : eval()'d code on line 368


 
I was getting "Gateway Timeout" messages a lot the last few days when trying to access the site.

Plus, today I tried to sign-in, and got the "account has been disabled for 15 minutes" message. I only tried to sign-in once? That was annoying. :l

The account disabled problem is fixed.

Yeah, at first I thought it was my internet, but CAG is seriously dragging ass right now.
 
The site is very slow for me as well for the past couple of days. Like, 30-90 seconds to render a complete forum page. But I'm patient, I'm sure it'll get fixed.

Didn't the site move to new servers recently?

Yeah, I have been having a lot of issues with the site being very slow lately.
 
Not just slow for me , for about the last few hours it hasn't even loaded half the time. I either click a link and the page goes blank (followed by me reloading several times till it finally works) or the page starts to load but shows up as 1 big single column and then stops.
 
I've been trying to get on CAG for most of the evening and night, and this is the first time the website has loaded from a blank screen. The email alerts were working, so it seemed that other members were able to access the site. I'm using Firefox on a Windows Vista computer, if this helps at all.
 
Ugh, please come back from vacation! The site is almost non-functional and it's impossible to keep up with any threads because they take ten attempts to connect, take a minute to load, and then don't display correctly half the time. I've never seen the site this bad and it's not due to load since there's less than 1900 people on, which is far less than most days.

Help!
 
Wow Im surprised. When I saw the thread title I expected a bunch of but hurt CAG fanboys to come out in droves to attack the topic creator.
