Marshall's DS games (Theresia & From the Abyss) on clearance

Just stopped by Marshall's and they were clearing out a pair of DS games...
Theresia and From the Abyss, each was 7 bucks in the clearance section.
They both seem to be decent games

Marshall's and TJ Maxx are the same company. If you do not have a Marshall's in your area, you probably have a TJ Maxx, so check there.

I had never heard of Theresia before and it looks pretty cool. I'll go check this out soon.
 
Good find OP, I saw Theresia in Marshall's a while back but didn't want to drop $20 on it. The game looks very weird kind of reminds me of rule of the rose.
 
For $7, I may just have to give these a shot if I can find them. I really don't need any more DS RPG/Adventure games (Phantasy Star 0 takes up most of my DS time), but for that price, I might bite.

Does TJ MAX normally have the same prices and inventory?

I was in one once, but never a Marshalls.
 
There were about 3 copies of each left at the store last night...this is in ABQ, NM
I've typically seen similar stock in TJ Maxx and Marshall's, so it is possible that TJ Maxx also has this...haven't been to local TJ Maxx though to confirm...

Oh, that explains it, then. :p The only game I've seen in my TJ Maxx, though (which was actually about half a month ago- checked for MW2) was a single copy of Guilty Gear 2: Overture for $20. I'll check back in later today, though, since I'll be stopping into Sears and it's right next door. :D Thanks for the heads-up on the two being the same company!
 
Theresia is really, really dark. There's a terribly sadistic storyline. I played for quite a while, which is unusual for my normal gaming preferences, but eventually, I was too creeped out to play anymore. Or simply depressed. There's almost no reason to press on. It's just misery and agony, one after the other.

Still, you'll want to know what happens/happened.
 
Anyone know what section the DS games are likely to be found in? Like by the registers or way in the back? I stopped by the closest Marshall's today and wandered around the whole store but couldn't find any DS games. I felt pretty weird poking around the little kids toys and kids DVDs (and if Theresia was there I would have laughed). Given how disorganized and cluttered the store was I'm guessing there isn't really a guaranteed place to find it, but I thought I'd ask. There's another Marshall's around, plus a TJ Maxx, so I'll check those in a few days.

I've been really interested in picking up Theresia for a while, I love dark, disturbing games.

Did you try asking at the customer service desk?
 
The ones I found were in a cart that had a clearance sign on it, near men's clothing. The clearance cart though had all sorts of things in it, like frames, home decor items, some toys. Here is the info from the receipt...which may help if you ask them to look it up, though not sure which is for Theresia and which is for From the Abyss
