What is the best way to sell DS games?

I'm getting rid of my DS and games since I never play them and I'm doing the mass trade-in at Gamestop during the 3 for bonus $10 deal, but the one game I don't want to do that for is Tetris DS. The $15 I'd get for it there pales in comparison to the $30-$40 I would get elsewhere.

It's the original copy in its original case, but if I just list it on EBay, it's going to be among all the pirated copies and get lost in the shuffle and not sell as well IMO.

I'm wanting cash so goozex is out, so should I try glyde.com or amazon marketplace? Or just wing it on EBay? Thanks in advance.

Take very good pictures and make it very clear it is from a USA seller and not a bootleg and you should be fine on ebay

Ebay is best way to get quick cash.

1) Be honest with ad.
2) Become a verified member.
3) Take your own photos
4) Offer low or free shipping.
I heard of this website called cheapassgamer.com and people buy and sell games on there.
That site is fake! They take your credit card info and before you know it, you're living in a cardboard box outside of a soup kitchen.

Seriously though, I think you'll be fine on eBay, just take very clear pictures and stress the fact you do not sell or endorse pirates.

2 reasons I didn't mention CAG.

1. CAG is more for trading IMO. There's 8 copies of Tetris up right now for trade. There's nothing I really want right now, unless you're going to trade me a Magic 2011 fatpack straight up for it ($35 MSRP and comes out next month) or maybe Heavy Rain then I'm not interested.

2. Want cash or Gamestop credit. Lots of lowball offers on CAG. Minimum to ship a game w/deliver confirmation in a padded envelope is right at $4 depending on weight (and that's first class, not Priority.) Lots of people don't want to pay anymore than Gamestop's TIV.

I'm a verified member on EBay with 382 feedback. It's just such a minefield right now with all the fake copies going for $20 and less that I don't know if I can get the $30 or so that I want for it. I can get $15 or so from Gamestop right now, so an EBay auction would need to be $25-$30 to warrant the hassle of going through them after fees.

I've heard good things about Glyde from the Kotaku articles so I might try that. Thanks.

Why dont you just list what you have and what prices you want for them.. if you got good cheap games many people (including myself) will buy them here....

hopefully i wont buy them all cause my roommate will kick my #$#$# if i get anymore games.. got around 200 Ds games just sitting around the house and one day i hope to list them up for sale here if i even get the time to list them alll and find all of the games

You could probably get at least $30-35 on Amazon. I just sold a couple DS games on Amazon and got more than I would otherwise without as much trouble as eBay. They sold fast too and weren't recent releases. Most of the Tetris DSes on Amazon sub-$40 now are cart only so you might be able to price it in there rather than be the lowest price and still sell it pretty fast.

And btw, shipping a DS game in a padded envelope w/DC domestic will only cost you around $2 if you pay for it online (paypal).

There are many people out there on ebay who do know how to spot a bootleg a mile away who are looking for legit copies. If you hammer in the details that it is a legitimate non-pirated copy, be friendly in the description and give them tons of more personal details (You know, where you got it, how you've been treating it and such. Letting them know you are a gamer who cherishes quality), and take your own pictures of the item you should be fine to make a decent buck there.

How reliable do you think VGPC.com is? I tried selling several games based of that, but then again, how many would like Age of Empire on DS rather than Dragon Quest?
