I noticed today that Amazon's lowered the prices on many (non-BR) TV seasons to $14.99; I suspect that this is a preemptive price-match to Target's $14.99 deal on these same sets next week.

Tempted to get house season 6 though there I usually wait until Black Friday to get the previous year's House.

There is a VOD promo for house season 6 where if you rent an episode you get 5.00 off the season set. 10.00 is pretty good actually I think I'll grab it.
 
Jumped on True Blood. I'm not that much of a quality whore to wait for it on Blu on that cheap (if ever). Thanks OP!

Would buying another and returning it with the old receipt be considered return fraud? I mean, I imagine if you still had access to the first one you bought and it wasn't so close to Christmas you would just return it and rebuy it (assuming you still have the receipt).

It's pretty ridiculous that the MSRP for the season is $59.99 to begin with.

Not at all, it's a roundabout way of doing a low price guarantee so long as the item is the same as the one you originally bought with the old receipt.

Doesn't Target still do price adjustments, though?

This is my personal XMas gift to myself it seems.
 
picked up dexter season 4, and tru blood season 2... funny me and my fiance just got season 3 and season 1 of those two shows today for Xmas.
 
Edit: Nope. Season 1 episodes of Psych for the $5 credit will not work towards a purchase on Season 4. Oh well!

I had a similar reaction with The Tudors Season 4... I paid $21 off Ebay, and now it's $6 cheaper from Target/Amazon. But it was for a Christmas gift and I'm going out of town soon so I'm not going to mess with any return games. You might want to though since its $25 cheaper in your case.
 
Picked up Family Guy Vol. 8

One dollar an episode seems about right to me and I'm still a fan of the show so see no reason not to.

Yeah but I'd imagine Target's price adjustments is only within 30 days or so which puts me out of that period anyways. Aw well. Its still annoying that Target puts this on sale after they know people were buying it for Christmas gifts... not as annoying as the LOTR Blu-Ray debacle but still.
 
lame that a lot of shows aren't on sale for season 1. Half the shows I haven't started and might've if I could've gotten season 1 on sale.

As good of a deal as Dexter Season 4 is for $14.99, it was even better when it showed up as one of my Gold Box Deals for $14.24! Awesome!

Tell me that your sig is accurate. I knew they were planning an Avengers movie, but is that a legit poster or fanmade? I'm not a huge comic buff but the thought of an Avengers movie just makes me excited.
 
Did the rent an episode for a buck, get $5 off the season deal for Castle. Heard nothing but good things about it, so why not get the whole season for $10?

EDIT: Turns out I had $4 in VOD credit from something I bought that I don't even remember....so the rental cost me nothing!

I saw it in Target today for $15 but only had enough for the last copy of Glee and Parenthood.
 
Questions for those who have purchased and opened Castle: Season 2. When I opened Castle I found an insert for how to and why you should upgrade to blu-ray. Did everyone receive that as well? The only reason I ask is because Castle is not on blu and was wondering if someone opened it, shrink wrapped it, and returned it and replaced that with the $10 off ABC coupon. Thanks in advance!
 
Hmmm looks like Castle Season 2 and Family Guy V8 are out of stock or something. I ordered these along with Castle S1, House S6 BR, and Psych S4 on the 26th and they've still have not shipped my order.
