Not sure if it's my favorite but the most memorable is the Dead Island trailer (the reverse one with the little girl and her family) almost had me in tears.

Halo 3 "Believe" - The diorama was cool, but it was the helmet moving at the end that sealed it for me.
Halo Reach "Deliver Hope" - Loved the close-up of the eye through the broken visor.

Nicely done video, by the way. How long did the motion graphics take you?
 
Yeah, the Sacred Ashes trailer is awesome. I always wished that the actual in-game Morrigan and Leliana looked more like the CG versions from that trailer.

Ahh lets just say a looooooooong time lol. Downloading each video took ages too, and then compiling them together and converting them into a HD video just took even longer :wall:
 
Off the top of my head I'd have to throw the Gears of War 1 "Mad World" one up there.

The Halo... 2? one where Master Chief rides a bomb onto a Covenant ship was pretty amazing too.

The first Assassin's Creed trailer deserves a spot as well. It got me to preorder the game like 8 months out. Then early reviews convinced me to give it a pass and a rental confirmed that I made the right call.

Finally, there were a series of SF2HD trailers that blew me away.

Nice compilation but I can't agree with the title, seeing's how this video only features trailers from recent games, with most being 2011 releases.

Also I'm not sure if video game commercials necessarily count as "trailers" but I can see where some would include them in their definition.

But those assassin's creed trailers were excellent- I remember watching that one (what became the opening video of the game) and thinking it was really well done. Then again I love AC1 probably one of my favorite of the whole series so I guess I'm also biased.

The DA:O one is pretty sweet too, I remember watching that one also and being excited about the game.
