Crap, I just bought this two days ago for regular price and use the bookdeal code for 15.99 shipped.

Updated - chat with Amazon and they are refunding me the difference.  Yes!

Dangit, my brother just ordered this yesterday when it was 21 dollars, didn't think it would go down anytime soon. Oh well, still got the 30% off though so I guess it's something.

These are the "original" editions. The ones you're talking about were the like $70 dollar LE 4000 edition. lol

If you're talking about a straight up data book, then none (at least in English) come to mind. If you're talking about a retrospective look at the series with a bunch of information, character profiles and such, the history of Sonic is somewhat similar.
