So I own Kameo, Condemened and PDZ, and I'm looking to get a new 360 game in the next 2 weeks or so. Should I get COD 2 or wait for DOA 4? Just curious.

I say Call of Duty 2

It is the best singleplayer experience on xbox 360 (although I won't play Condemned until later this week)

IMHO I would go COD 2 because I prefer FPS's over fighting. I enjoy the DOA series, especially the boob engine...hahahahaha  , but COD 2 I think has more replayability.

Maybe wait until you play DOA4?

But even though I haven't... I think that I'd pick CoD2. I mean, I love the DOA series but the jump from 2 to 3 didn't seem that big for me. After part 2, it seems like the game's just getting updates rather than new versions.

DOA3 didn't really play all that much differently than DOA2, nor was the graphical jump that great. And from the looks of it, DOA4 doesn't look all that impressive graphically and I can't imagine the gameplay changing all that much.

Besides, CoD2 seems to be the 360 launch game to get.:)

for someone who gets into the game, 2 and 3 are very different. 4 seems completely different than the rest...and check out some HD movies while your at it...it's the 2nd best looking game on the system, next to CoD2.

that said they are 2 very different games...get both!

I probably will get both down the line, I just wanted to get one soon to check out. Is DOA 4 still coming out next week instead of this week?

I'd go with DOA4, since Call of Duty 2 is pretty much a Single player experience (online is supposedly horrid). So get DOA4 at MSRP and get CoD2 when its cheaper.

I disagree. I haven't played in a couple of weeks now, but I found CoD2 on Live to be very fun. True, sometimes it was unplayably laggy, but I'd say that's only 1/4 of the time. A high rate to be sure, but not unbearable.

DOA is my favorite fighting series, but COD is my second favorite FPS series (after PD, though I haven't played PDZ). Since I prefer FPSs to fighting games, I'd go with COD2.

Depends, DOA4 is sure to offer the better multiplayer, as COD2's sucked hard. Where as fighting games are never really fun when played alone. Plus you have to ask yourself this: Do you want yet ANOTHER FPS (when you already own one) or would you rather have something (kinda) new (okay so it's just a rehash of DOA 3/U, it's new on 360). Also take into mind the cheap ass factor: COD2 has been out for almost a month now, surely you can find a used copy either online or at a B&M store, or maybe even a sale, where DOA4 has all of one sucky sale online.

get both! cod2 is great and from what i read and saw on the internet, doa4 looks goooood~ or wait on doa4. cod2 is a must!!
