I just wanted to start this thread for any fellow Survivor fans. The newest season premieres in about 15 minutes.

Hopefully it'll be as physically brutal as the last one.

Wtf 12th get out...I use to love the show, watched the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th one, now their poppin them out every month.

I don't know if I like the 4 tribe thing, you won't get to know the "characters" as well. One hour a week just isn't enough time the way it's set up this season...

Damn that black lady got some BIG ASS TITTIES!

I'm glad they put a heavy smoker on the show. When I used to smoke, I always wondered what it would be like to be on Survivor jonesin' the whole time. And this guy's a 3-pack a dayer. Sweet.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't start the thing off with an 11 mile hike again like last year. I guess they didn't want the players physically obliterated before the game even started.

I'm sure as the smaller tribes get decimated they'll move to some sort of merge more quickly.

I dunno...so far the whole thing feels like a step back from last year. I do like the stipulation change on the hidden immunity idol, though. It's going to make dividing votes even more dangerous.

*******possible spoiler*************

i thought they did the 4 tribe thing much better than i expected, however i think this was only 1 episode...i've seen around that they merge to two tribes after the first ep...and remember the big "suprise" on exile island that changes the game (seen in next week's previews), probably 2 tribe merge....also the black chick cirie (sp?) refers to the smoker guy saying if he wants to quite he can quite...also a possible spoiler that the old men and women are joined to one tribe?

Ah-hah! Thanks! I had a phone call when they ran the preview so I didn't see that.

however they could re-arrange the tribes via a pick'em method...who knows. it would seem more logical to keep it old v. young, b/c if someone starts watching next week they may never know what any of the original tribes were, and what point would the original tribes have served. never can be sure what MB's thinking.

looks like a good season though, plenty of crazies to go around.

Yeah...that was really pretty crummy what they did to Melinda. Shane needs to be dealt with ASAP or he's just going to be another Jamie (Guatemala).

Week 3 thoughts:

Miserable luck for Bruce...exiled twice in a row. Shane flipping out over a damn stone then throwing a tantrum on Courtney over the boiling water? Yeah, guys...you kept this guy, now you're gonna have to deal with him.

Full contact bag race? Brutal! Looks like 3 more days with Shane.

Day 8 - Tribal Council...I figured Ruth Marie was done, having no allies and losing the challenge for the tribe. I don't think Misty saw that coming.

It was one of the best eps that I can recently remember...the immunity challege was great, and terry owns. and that was bad luck for bruce, he's been on exile island longer than he's been with any tribes.

I agree, the look on Misty's face said it all...I think it was smart of Dan and Terry to break up those 2 girls, ruth marie's not a thread. deal with her when you need to.

Hope you guys like Terry and Dan.

my thoughts:

shane is a head case

bruce is the man, and it sucks to see him get owned like that

the girl with the speech impetiment bugs the shit out of me, but her perfect tits more than make up for it

I was hoping the last bag rush would have been a full tribe on tribe ass whipping fest. Everyone charging for it at once. Though, the copious amounts of ass and titties, plus the 2 girls grinding on each other more than made up for it.

I'm liking this season...could shape up to be one of the best in awhile. Looks like the hidden immunity could play a big part in the game, esp. since they showed us Terry finding it.

dude, bruce is the fucking man. idk why but i hope he wins... he is so chilled out all the time, and he keeps his shit together...

i hope either him or the girl with the tits win

"yeah... her tits rule" - WhipSmartBanky

Heads up - Survivor's airing a day early this week with a special recap episode tonight - if you've missed any or haven't jumped on yet, here's your chance.

Looks like Terry's going to try to use it as a bargaining chip...either he's effin' brilliant or an effin' idiot.

Terry is on an IC winning streak. At the rate he is going, he won't need to use the hidden idol at all.

I'm rooting for Danielle and Sally in the final 2!!!

Sally, Bruce, and Aras threesome in a bed is pretty funny. :)

And I agree with the previous poster that Danielle has perfect breasts. I can't keep my eyes away from the TV when she's on camera with her nice cleavage.
Terry is un-fucking-believable haha
If Terry loses, he's got nobody to blame but himself. Letting people know he has the hidden immunity is stupid. He should've kept on winning, kept the hidden idol to himself, and just let his own guys get picked off if that's the way it was going to fall. He'd need them on the jury anyway. Now he's just going and pissing everyone off.

...and that reward...bwhahaha...sure it was food and they'd take it, but a soaked bed out on the beach? Where's the suite? The massage? The helicopter ride? That's sure a step back from the rewards from last year, especially when we're down to voting for jury duty. Ah well, pissed off the people back at camp just the same.

Seems like this season they stripped a lot of the extravagance and got back to basics. Love the hidden immunity twist this year though.

Since there's been Individual Immunity, Terry has owned it.

I think Terry made the right move...Shane and the others are out to get him, there's absolutely no way he can afford to give the hidden immunity away. Besides, having Austin and Sally on the jury might turn into votes for him down the road. Time to reel in the cockiness and start trying to social up.

Go Terry! That guy's the man!

I'm glad he didn't put the idol into play. He's really gonna need it down the line with the numbers against him. So how many episodes left? They do the final four and two in one show along with the final tribal on Sunday right?

So where's that put the final show as? First week of May? I hope so else I'm gonna miss the whole thing.

And I missed the first segment. Anything happen then? What was the reward exactly and how did they choose teams? I only caught up to the part when Cerie, Danielle and Shane got back to the beach.

The secret immunity idol. In order to play it at tribal council does the person need to have it in their possesion going in to the council, or can it be passed to them after the vote?

My gf and I have a disagreement on this and I'm wondering if anybody knows 'officially' or just what everyone thinks on this.

It can be passed to them after the vote. I believe at the first tribal council, they asked "does anyone have the immunity idol or does anyone want to hand it over"

Damn! Oh well, I don't need to tell her she was right do I?

The last few councils Jeff's said 'Do you have the immunity idol' to the person voted out and I took that to mean no one could pass it to them. Good memory.

IMO the thing is pretty cheap and unbalances the game. But they do plenty of cheap things every season as it's really an entertainment show first and a game show second.

Jeff took them out to see snippets of videos from home. Then, IIRC, two teams of 4 were randomly picked, then it was some weird rope swinging thing where a three had to use ropes to pull a fourth around this little course thing, picking up flags in order then sticking them in a post. Winning team got PB&J and milk, along with the chance to watch their whole video AND their comfort items from home (Bruce's sketchbook, Terry's American flag, etc...) Ares got picked from the losing team to go to Exile Island.

I thought the idol could have been played nicely. People could have faked having it, and found something that would make people believe is the idol. It would have been more interesting if someone did that, considering theres no official word of who has it, even though a lot of them know Terry has it now.

I remember Jeff saying after a vote once, "Unless you have the immunity idol or someone has given it to you," so it would seem you can hand it to someone at tribal itself.

I can't believe Shane is still on. That guy's damn irritating, though his little problem last show was pretty damn hilarious.

Thing is, even though Terry has flaunted it, it seem like they're still in denial. He outright offered it to Danielle a couple shows back. They think he's got some kind of trinket or that he's trying to scam them. Kinda funny, if you ask me.

Yeah, its fun to watch haha. I thought it was a stupid move for Terry to flat out just tell people he has the idol. They don't believe him though, so it doesn't matter. I'm still wondering when the idol will come into play.

If it even does. When was the last time that Terry lost an immunity challenge?

I feel bad for him because he is in a no win situation. Even if he runs the table and gets to the final two, the others are so blindly loyal to their "alliance" that he will not be voted to win.

The ones that were approached to turn against their alliance were silly not to as they could have improved their position in the game by doing so.

It could very well work to his advantage if he makes it to the final two to have won all this time, though. They might see his road to winning to be that much more difficult lacking the numbers and as such, see him as far more deserving of their vote.

BTW, I can't remember the last few final votes. Have they gone with the more deserving player or have they gone with alliance ties? I can't recall there being as strong alliance going this far into the game though.

Seems like from the tease that Shane might be shaking things up next week, which is bound to happen, but six strong so far? When't that happen before?
