Looking for a Gmail invite

To get a gmail email address. Gmail is offered by google and gives you an email account with 2.5gb of storage and googles amazing search tools and nice grouping interface.

I used to think so too until recently. Maybe its only me but in the last month my spam numbers went from 3-5 a month to about 100 a week

I've only given out a few to friends or people I know. I have a 4 different accounts that I use daily. I was under the impression that google had opened Gmail so that it no longer was by invite only.

only if you give them your cell # to text you an activation code.
