Hey everyone! I wanted to know what games people keep comming back to, and still are having fun with.

I'm looking pick up a DS game since I got a DSlite over the Holidays and need a game for it, and I want it to be something I keep playing down the road. I am currently looking at Metroid Prime Hunters, Animal Crossing WW, and Star Fox Assault, but other ideas are welcome.

So, what keeps you comming back?!? Help is appreciated!

Mario Kart, Tetris, and Meteos. Metroid Prime Pinball too. New Super Mario Bros as well.

Lately I'm back into EBA and Ouendan as well, but I haven't had too much of a break from them either.

I would say Animal Crossing and Mario Kart would be excellent choices, if those are the sorts of games you enjoy. Great for picking up and playing at any time. Betwen those two... I'd say Mario Kart. Animal Crossing will eventually exhaust itself, but you can always try to beat high scores or new opponents in Mario Kart :)

Clubhouse Games has infinite playability. Just bowling and darts alone are great to pick up anytime. I agree with everyone on Mario Kart too.

QFT.

Does Children of Mana have that much replay value?

oooooooouuuuueeeeeennnnnddddddaaaaaannnnnn, getting an S on every song is just plain brutal, good thing only RSG on insane left :D
Advanced Wars, seriously I dont think I have spent more time on any game.
Yes, this is by far the most time I've ever spent on a handheld game (and probably more than just about every console game too). It has so many things to accomplish - all the rankings on all the maps as well as the medals to acquire. Nintendo really nailed this one in terms of replayability. This aspect has been somewhat lacking on many titles since then.

Mario Kart I've played about 3 times. I really just can't get into it. I think it must be the D-pad control - hate it. I loved MK: DD and unlocked everything in there when I first got back to console gaming with my GC in 2003, so it certainly isn't the concept. I just think some things work better on the DS and some don't.

I also spent a ton of time in Animal Crossing but once I let my town go to seed (literally) in May of 2006, as each month goes by I find it harder to even think about trying to play again. I'm hoping a Wii version gets announced soon though.

Clubhouse I played a lot when it first came out and not much since. But as soon as I go on my next business trip, this will be the perfect game to bring on the plane and play in hotels, so I'll get back into it then (I have saved the 'hard' level of stamp mode for that, in fact).

Leaning toward AC:WW since I'm currently playing through Metroid Prime using the Wii, I have Mario Kart Super Circuit, so I don't really need another version right now. Also Star Fox is a close second since I don't have any Star Fox games (I know, how did I miss all of them?!?). I'll probably pick up MP:pinball as well.

I'm also wondering if AC:WW is still active? Is Nintendo still sending out gifts via wifi? Have I missed all the good stuff, and should just wait for AC:Wii? Are there still a good number playing online? LMK, AC players!

Thanks for all the suggetions!

EDIT: Also, does AC support multiple saves? So if my wife wants to play too, could she have her own town? (I doubt it, but I can hope, right???)

I rarely go back to any games after completing them, but I have popped Metroid Prime Pinball in one or two times and I've come back to Brain Age a little bit. In the whole though I'd have to say 99% of the time I'm playing something fresh.

I spent a solid year with Animal Crossing. I find myself popping in Jump Ultimate Stars/Jump Superstars all the time. I toss in Mario Kart DS, Tetris DS, and Wario Ware Touched all the time still.

Well, I haven't finished a single game in my DS collection yet, so I guess for me it would be "all of them".

Me too. I did beat NSMB, but I haven't finished all the levels yet.

But, unlike any other console I've ever owned, I've actually played (and enjoyed) all of my DS games. More than half of my PS2 games are still sealed.

Every once in a while I pop in Kirby to try to get more medals (and consequently get very angry at the minigames) or DQ: Rocket Slime to collect more stuff for my tank.

Ouendan, Phoenix Wright, Animal Crossing WW

Sometimes I play a little Electroplankton, and some New Super Mario Bros.

Mario Kart DS - I don't play as much as I used to but I still find myself playing afew races on WiFi at least once or twice a week and I've had Mario Kart DS since afew days after it came out.

Defenitly Elite Beat Agents...there are tons of difficulty levels, and once you beat those, there's still trying to get S rankings on every song
