Dungeon & Dragons: Daggerdale FREE on Asian marketplace! (Xbox)

thanks op. since I have now created a taiwan account, is there any other free content I can pick up? only interested in games or add-ons. thanks
 
Oh thats so cool. thanks Bloomy and OP for this, added to my downloads just now with this very same account used to download ghostbusters.

Lol I believe the only thing they can do is ban the Taiwan account. Plus, it's their fault for making it free. All I did was simply make an account. I didn't hear of anyone getting banned for Ghostbusters so we are good.

Any know of any other Taiwanese freebies?

You can most likely just change the language it is in.

I played it and it was in english, I just downloaded it on the Taiwan account and it lets you play on every account. so you can get achievements on your main account too :D

ok i was so wrong about the Ghostbusters it was a vid but the search was telln me it was the game so i did not look at the size of the file sorry srry

You can also tell by the picture as opposed to the file size. The video's show a controller with a film strip behind them.

ya that's what i look at and dont no if it was a bug but it told me it was a game not a vid then wen i went to get the link then it was a film strip srry :cry:
 
This won't work for me. I tried using the same account I made to get Ghostbusters XBLA for free. It keeps saying its not available in my region.

hmm.. seems my Taiwan account somehow got changed to India... anyways... I made a new one and got the Game... sucks I had to make a new account... oh well.. at least I got 2 free games...

This was a long time ago...probably three or four months ago. Maybe even longer.
 
Thanks for the heads up on this, and yeah ghost busters was a while back, here's something i noticed today that sucks though, is they pulled Ghostbusters:SOS completely from the Taiwan market, so you can't even redownload/transfer licenses for it if you need too....

if your browsing the marketplaces in other languages for full games here's the way to tell, since some of the demos are the same size as the fulls

The picture of the controller (all filled in with white) is the fullgame
The picture of the controller (half filled and half dotted) is the demo

it was free, back in march, now it's completely gone from the Taiwan market (or is IP restricted)

Just use Chrome for that. it will translate for you. :)
 
Thanks for the post, just logged in with the account from Ghostbusters, and found it! Downloading now. Heard this game is pretty bad, but can't argue with free.

First use any old (or make a new one) e-mail ID to create a new Xbox account but instead choose Taiwan and use a valid postal code. After doing that, fill in your Billing details and use some fake Taiwan address (http://www.ait.org.tw/en/contact-us.html) and you're done.

Next find D&D: Daggerdale and simply purchase it and then make sure to recover it on your console to download it. The license will be stored on your console and the game will be playable by all accounts on it!

1. Go to hotmail.com and make a new email account. Just put Taiwan as your location and a zipcode from there, I used 222.

2. Go to xbox.com and make a silver account. It should import all your info from the hotmail.

3. Then just get on your xbox and download that profile to your console and sign in with it. You can navigate to the arcade marketplace using the pictures since the words will all be in Chinese. Download your game then go back to your normal profile and play.
