COD: Ghosts, Madden, FIFA, BF4 (PS4 and Xbox One) Dead Rising 3 - $49.99 at Best Buy ($39.99 with GCU)

What's "GCU"?  Is Dead Rising 3 the day 1 edition?  Might pick that up and Battlefield/CoDGhosts for PS4.

I put call of duty ghosts for 360 in my cart  and it came to 35.99  I'm gcu and premier elite.  Its sold out in my store but getting it shipped to me by monday

I haven't done a PM at BBY in awhile, is it still 15 days after purchase and it has to be BBY price that you're are matching?

Damn. So how do we get the price adjustment on these if we paid the $60 - GCU with reward zone bonuses? I don't wanna mess the bonuses up
I called customer service but got shot down and they told me they couldn't do it. Said I had to go to the store and do it but that doesn't make sense, I bought them online too.

If you bought them online they only way they could do it is on the phone. yeah, that doesnt make sense heh

did these sale prices just show up around the time OP made this?  I wonder if this will carry into tomorrow.  I bought instore so would need to PM there.

Thanks for the heads up OP!! Online shows CoD out of stock in my area. Called the store and they have plenty so I'll be picking that up along with an adjustment for DR 3 and BF 4.

Was told the same and I bought in store. Makes no sense. I pride myself on not calling their customer service since it's so poor but maybe I'll drop by a store tomorrow.

FWIW, I know every Best Buy CSR experience is different, but after 30 mins they couldn't get this to price match with my GCU. Even though it was a price adjustment they told me it kept spitting out the no double dipping on PM rule. Which was pretty annoying. I coudn't even return-rebuy because these prices are only online apparently.

Going to have to order them online and return in store.

Wish Ryse,NBA and Forza were on sale so I could pm those. Have DR and Ghosts but got them from Dell and Gamestop so looks like I'm outta luck.

Online only? That's weird. I look forward to hearing if people are able to adjust their prices in store. I'll have $24 coming back to me if successful.

Thanks for the heads up. This was just enough of a discount for me to pull the trigger on Madden. I'm set till inFamous comes out in March with my PS4.

I just happened to notice it when I was checking out the site this afternoon. No idea why they only price matched some of the titles from Amazon and what not.

Glad to help other people find the titles for the prices. Wish it was in store... I have to wait for Dead Rising now...

so you called CS not talk to instore CS? I preordered in store so if I return/rebuy I out the 3 $10 certs and the $25 promo.

Oh no, I did this instore. I would've been out the 3/$25 promo too, but I bought 4 Ps4 games during that week heh.
The PS4 3/$25 promo is separate from the Xbox One 3/$25 promo.

I was planning on going in store with receipt tomorrow, but you mentioned the price didn't ring up at the register as this is online only. I still have until February to PM though thanks to extended holiday and being Elite plus however.

I bought cod: ghosts and dead rising in store friday and they were unable to price match today.  They said the gamer's club discount prevented them from being able to match the new price.  I'd rebuy and return but I don't want to forfeit the $25 back for buying three.

Can somebody explain the difference between Day One edition games and regular Xbox One games? Im lost....

Can you get this price adjusted if you previously bought the games with the GCU Bonus? Picked up BF4 and Dead Rising a couple of days ago for my older brother so this would save $16.

Called about dead rising pm and they gave me back $10 instead of $8.

:)

I am GCU and just explained it to them, it was no issue.

Wonder if I'll have any luck trying to PM instore tomorrow. Otherwise I'll go ahead and call them up to get back $20.

A $40 Madden might actually be worth it now. Hopfully the trade in value will hold for at least a month or so...

I had no problems price adjusting in store. The manager that helped me was super helpful and even though I explained to her multiple time that it was supposed to be $49.99 and then $39.99 after my GCU..... when she price adjusted she ran all 3 of my games to $39.99 and then took my 20% off on top of that. So I ended up paying $31.99 for Madden, COD, and Dead Rising 3. After tax each game only ended up being $34.23... I saved $17.12 each. Talk about some luck! Haha. That's a whole extra game I can buy myself now! Haha.

Well, that was weird. I was at customer service getting 4 games PMed to the new prices. I'm a GCU member, so I originally paid $48/game. They're having trouble doing the PM to $50, so the clerk summons a manager and has me stand to the side to wait. There's another customer waiting there for a different manager to come and help.

The customer starts chatting me up, asking about my issue. I explain I'm there for a messy PM, and they say they work for BB so they're curious about the specifics. I go into the specifics; there's a new gamer's club that gives a discount, and the games I bought are now cheaper so I'm looking to match the lower price while maintaining that GCU discount. She promises that I'll be taken care of, and shortly the manager who's going to help me shows up and I wrap up talking to the customer/BB employee. The manager does some fiddling, and finds a workaround to do the PMs.

The manager who can help out the other customer/BB employee shows up and takes care of them. When the customer/BB employee leaves, she gives the clerk her business card and asks for them to contact her about my case. This baffles me and the manager helping me.

Ugh...can't decide on Dead Rising 3. Anyone have a good sales pitch for this game? I haven't played the earlier ones except Case Zero. Is it fun or does it get tedious killing thousands of zombies?

DR3 is awesome, and a great coop experience. Also, You can craft a dildo shooting gun.

On topic, so if you get adjusted in store this shouldn't mess with the purchase date right? As far as qualifying for the $25?

If you're GCU member and can get it for $40, I'd say you're doing yourself an injustice by not getting it. Heck, the trade in value will probably stay around $40 for the next month. If you don't like it, you won't be out much, if anything.

I wouldn't say DR3 is that much different from the other games, but it's not like they didn't add more awesomeness to the series. Combining weapons and vehicles is done very well this time around. And the amount of zombies on the screen is absolutely insane.

I'm about a third of the way through it, and it's been nothing sort of a blast to play. I didn't think the other games had much replay value, outside of putting the disk in and smashing zombies for a short session, and I could see this one following the same steps.

Still, it's a very good launch title. I'd put it at an 8/10.

As I mentioned before, I didn't get the price at the register and didn't have the time to mess with a price match, so I just ordered the Day One edition of DR3 via the website (as that is still available.)

Just hoping that they match some of the other prices tomorrow.
