McDonalds Happy Meal is having a contest open to kids aged 4 to 12 where you can win a Nintendo DS with the Mario Hoops 3 on 3 and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: March of the Minis games. Although you may be surprised to hear I'm actually too old to enter, I know at least some CAG's have kids, so you could have them enter.

I found it on the website where they're promoting the Mario toys in Happy Meals right now.

The site is in Flash so there's no direct link to the entry form, but go to: http://www.happymeal.com/mario/ I'm sure you can figure out the rest...

Also, go to "Games" and you can play Mario's Driving Range (fun for a couple of shots) and Jammin With Mario - where you use the keyboard like a piano to play classic Super Mario Bros tunes. I like that one - but I have to look at my fingers.

I saw this on my happy meals I bought last night. I only bought 'em for the Mario toys.

Entered with a fake age (I think this is the first time I've had to lie and say I'm younger than I actually am, LOL), thanks op.

I think that winking Mario ball looks sort of cool - in a crazy way. It would be even cooler for me if they had a Luigi ball. :D

Does anyone else think it's wrong for there to be age restrictions on contests? I can understand for a contest sponsored by a beer company for example to say you have to be 21 to enter but I think a regular contest should be open to all ages.

I don't have a problem with it. I just had the impression the contest was a way to get kids to do some exercise and be more active. I mean how many adults are going to go thru all the trouble of doing all those activities - unless they are just filling out the form along with putting a fake age - just to win a DS.

Really, once you're an adult - you can do whatever you want so I think its nice that this contest is just limited to kids - even if I can't enter. Kids have to wait for everything. I'm sure if it was open to all ages, like it would be mostly adults that would enter - even people that don't want a DS but just wanting to get something for free.

There's no age limit on getting a Happy Meal though so adults can get them for themselves - although they might get some funny looks if there aren't any kids with them. :p

I used to work at a McDonald's. It wasn't fun, though I did like the people I worked with. And one of them is getting me the Nintendo themed toys.

Thanks for the heads up, OP. I've got a few nephews that play games about as much as I do at those ages...they'll probably enjoy it.

Not sure if this is a good place to post this, but I've been looking for more information for the two Mario games that were playable on the Happy Meal website. The Mario's Driving Range and Jammin' with Mario games mentioned in this thread. This forum post is one of the few mentions of the games anywhere on the internet I can find.

There's no playable builds, photos, or videos anywhere online for these games and the games are considered lost media. If anyone who participated in this thread is able to see this, do any of you remember any details about these games? How they looked? How they played? Any details at all? Any detail, no matter how small, would be quite helpful to me.
