[DEAD]Foxconnect.com flash sale 50% off order with coupon

Couldn't apply it to 24: The Complete Series :(
weird...the coupon worked when I tried to test it out with the bond box set, so I assumed it worked for everything else too. Guess not.

I was able to get futurama 7, and 8 and homeland season 2 all on blu-ray for $45 shipped.

Found out that the 3D combo pack of Wolverine wouldn't discount with the coupon.  The other four items would.   Very odd.

Fine print says on orders up to $100, excluding the Bond sets.  Not eligible towards Star Wars, Dreamworks, and select box sets.  Other exclusions may apply.

Guess the Wolverine 3D is one of those other exclusions.  Meh.

Well took another look at it and decided to order a couple cheap movies once I realized that free shipping kicks in somewhere around $12 which is a lot better than the $25 it was on BF.

Edit- Ended up with Whip It, The Wrestler, and Fantastic Mr. Fox to tip me over the free shipping.  With no tax or shipping from them worked out to $5.49 a movie which I'm quick OK with.

Dang- I'd love to get The Wolverine Extended 3D if this sale would apply to it!  Are there any other great deals to be had that I'm missing?  I'm not seeing anything spectacular...

Things aren't looking great for new releases (Wolverine Unleashed for around $15 would have been awesome), but there are a lot of catalog titles that are good deals, many of which are cheaper than they were in early Nov, when the last sale was (and held up well through BT and BF). These include Patton, The Hustler, Annie Hall, Midnight Cowboy, All About Eve, a lot of Double Features, such as Juno/Whip It, 28 Days/Weeks Later, Transporter 1 and 2, and Moulin Rouge/Romeo and Juliet (DiCaprio version), are just a few of the many titles they have for $6.50.

Avatar 3-D for $13 is the cheapest I've seen it, and probably the cheapest it will be until (or should I say if) the Extended version is released in 3-D. Jumper and Predator 3-D for $9.50 each is probably the cheapest you'll see those two for a while, and A For Few Dollars More, the only one of the Man With No Name Trilogy that wasn't on sale during BT/BF is $5.50, as is Young Frankenstein, and the great classic (sometimes named as the funniest movie ever made) Some Like it Hot is $5.00.

Firefly for Blu is also a great deal at $13.00.

BTW, anyone know when this sale ends?

Guys on dvdtalk pointed out they have some Comic Con slip covered blus going for good prices with the code. I guess these fetch a premium price on the secondary markets. Only one I don't see available is The Silence of the Lambs. More info on these is here, along with links to the products: http://www.thehdroom.com/news/Fox-Comic-Con-Exclusive-Blu-rays-Available-to-Purchase-Online/12768
Hmm, didn't even think about that when I saw those. They are in a small quantity on eBay and those are at respectable prices but do they actually sell?

Completed listings show them going mostly in the 18-25 dollar range, occasionally some higher.

This. Used it to get the Carrie one. Already have Silence of the Lambs in this edition, so glad I got that earlier. Last time I tried to use this site though, I ended up having to cancel my order because they never told me the items were backordered. I really hope ordering just one movie means this will be painless this time.

Are people's orders still in the processing stage? I ordered on 1/31 and it's still processing.
It will say "in processing" until it ships. If you're patient, you will eventually receive everything you ordered, though it could take a while - a few items I ordered in Nov. took 6-8 weeks. Also watch the release dates, even if the movie is already had a BR release; it could be another edition, or pressing. The Annie Hall I ordered back in Nov. had a release date towards the end of Jan. (I noticed it at the time, but it was cheaper), and it just shipped recently. You still get the discount on pre-orders.

Thanks for the info! We'll see what happens. If this doesn't work out, I give up in Foxconnect.
